These are somehow both the best swim shorts I have ever worn and the most aggressively butt-crack-hostile garment ever created. The fit is excellent. The compression liner feels great, the phone pocket in the liner is actually useful, and the two small zipper pockets are perfect. On vacation, I basically lived in these. Hands down—and pants down—the best “swimmies” I’ve owned. But then there is the tag. The tag sits right above the butt crack, and when you move, it feels like someone installed a tiny strip of sandpaper back there. I was genuinely mad because the shorts felt SO good everywhere else, but the tag was doing psychological warfare on my rear end. I ended up cutting the tag out and fixing the problem myself. After that, I loved them. I can sew and tinker with stuff, so it was easy enough for me, but you should not have to modify swim shorts just to protect your arse crack from textile violence. I would absolutely buy these again because they fit great and work great. But please, please address the tag. Very good product. I ordered 3 of these in different colors, and they fit as described. I’m a little on the heavier side like most middle-aged people, with an approximate waist size of 36”, and the Large fits me well because of the elastic waistband. I’m currently losing a bit of weight, and I know these will still fit well if and when I make it down to a 34” waist. The trunks are good quality and the colors are vibrant. My husband really loved the shorts, they are true to size and the color matches the picture shown. They have a good bit of stretch but not extremely stretchy, and the built in underwear was a life saver for my husband it helped with a lot of support!
