I am very skeptical shopping for clothing online as you have to worry about sizes not fitting properly. I gave these shorts a shot and now I own 3 pairs! I am a waist 33 and the Meduim short fits great. These are very comfortable for spring and fall use. They are great for summer use as well though on hot days they can get pretty hot as they are a slightly thicker short but I haven't had any issues! They have been washed many many times and still look new.

I purchased these shorts for my son in almost every color (two in black) in size small. He is approximately 5'7", 140 lbs., with an athletic build, and small fits him perfectly. However, both pairs of black shorts are visibly smaller than all the other colors (which are exactly the same size). The black are a little shorter and narrower in the waist/hips. He is still able to wear them, but they just look smaller on him. If purchasing black and on the border of small and medium, size up.

Review for charcoal shorts XXL. Materials is 5/5 comfy soft and thick. Fit is 3/5 fits a little weird. Kind of tight on hips (extra weird as I have no hips). Waist fits fine. Zippers on pockets 0/5. Why do you want zippers on at home loungewear pockets? Fit is forgivable. Zippers are not. I would 100% buy again if no zippers.
