I typically wear a large but these seem to have a more modern cut so they were a bit tight on me. The material is really nice. It is soft and has some heft to it. Doesn't feel like something I would want to work out in more so wear around town. The pockets are an added bonus. However, I feel nor see any size difference between the XL and L.

Ordered a Medium in Men’s which was feel perfect for thicker thighs in Women’s. Very soft material, don’t like the white draw strings too much but triple point for the zipper pockets!!!! Definitely plan on buying a few more pair and gonna stalk the page for any other comfy clothes
