I'm a new skateboarder and honestly I'm super shocked how awesome and nice this complete set is. I just had to tighten the trucks a bit and the far right wheel needed to be loosened a bit and it is good to go. I recommend this board for sure for beginners. I would assume based on research more advanced skaters would get smaller wheels for it. Update: 4 month's after purchase (photos are from this time. Skateboard update/review: Have had this board since late October 2020 and I have to say it's a great beginner board. It's super sturdy and the trucks aren't bad at all. The brand of the board is called Merkapa which I found on Amazon. 7 Layered Canadian wood. 8.0 31 inches. I swapped the wheels with Cal 7s at first but they were rubbish. I'm now honestly going forward swearing by spitfire wheels (which are seen in picture) 52mm 101As. They are sturdy, pebbles are nothing to them and they skate soooooo fast. Bearings are Bones Reds and hardware from Fireball. This board has been through so much from learning ollies, attempting Pop Shuvs (4 weeks now and still can't get it) falling, bumping into things, wheel bite, caveman attempts and grind attempts. I love this board. I love skateboarding in general. Each bump and chip off the wood is a story. I started about a month ago after writing "Never Give Up" on the side to put a mark down for each hard fall I have to remind myself to get up and try again. I am thankful for this board to take so much of a beating and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in starting or wanting to skate. ... show more

*Newest update* Got a new board and it's held up well for over a year. Update: I did get a hold of customer service. They were very quick to get back to me and said they were sending out a new board. Will update my review once we receive the new board and use it for a while. Received this board February 15th, 2021. This board was ridden about once a week by my husband (195lbs) who is an experienced skateboarder. I bought it for him because the description states that it is heavy duty and long lasting.... it lasted 41 days. I am unable to find a phone number or email for customer service. Wouldn't recommend for someone that does tricks even though the description states its for that. ... show more

Most of it felt very nice, the deck was sturdy, the trucks were metal and nice and the wheels worked fine, my only complaint was the bearings they were AWFUL the worst bearings I think I have ever seen, once I got it I immediately got it outfitted with some reds because it was practically unusable with the included bearings. Was looking for a board for 8-year old grandson who is learning to skate. This one is regular 32 in. size, with sturdy construction and quality trucks and wheels. Lots of designs/colors to choose from and reasonable price.

For the money it’s ok. I’ve had this board for a couple of weeks now and the bearings on the trucks are starting to rust already. The board itself feels weird while turning even after being adjusted. Not the best board in the world but great beginner skateboard though.

Overall I’m very satisfied, all my skater friends were impressed when I told them the price. The only part of the board that isn’t good quality is the adhesive for the deck, the black part bubbles up a little in some spots. That part is not aesthetically pleasing at all, but I feel like the price is great considering the quality of the rest of the board. As a beginner I actually feel somewhat safe standing on it and I can tell it’s not weak or anything.     • Great Value for Price, Bearings Suck tho
I got my Merkapa complete in the mail. And was pretty impressed with the board. Cool look, sturdy board, and so far decent trucks. It even came with a skate tool . So far my only complaint are the wheels/bearings. The board rides hella slow with the bearings included, but I switched it out with my Pennyboard bearings and there was a massive improvement. So if you get this board, get some “Bones” skateboard bearings too, and I’m sure you’ll love it ... show more
