Don’t waste your money. Seems like a great idea, except no matter how hard you tighten them they’re no match for the force of a mallet and a tapping block. They just collapse and you lose your spacing. Plus, bring your reading glasses Cuz; there’s no contrast on the microscopic measurements. Costs time, costs mental space, and costs more money because you have to buy something else anyway. I wanted to give it two stars because it’s a neat idea, but if it doesn’t do what it says what is the second star for? ... show more

This is a pack of 20 flooring spacers, being offered by a white label branding called M MEEPO. While these are, in fact, identical to multiple other spacers that are available at varying prices, that all likely come from the same factory overseas somewhere. Nevertheless, they are effective when doing vinyl flooring. In the past I have cut up scrap pieces of floor from a different job and brought them with me so that I could use those as spacers, the issue usually comes in, where you can't be exact when using that method. These, on the other hand are perfect for that task. When you're starting a floor out and your wall is crooked. Which is, by the way, almost always. Another thing that sets these apart from the standard using scrap method, is that a vertical piece of scrap can get pressed up under the wall. While these sit on the vinyl plank and will not allow for any give for anything to push under the bottom of the drywall. Secondly, there are 20 of them which is usually more than adequate. They pack away neatly and into a relatively small box. It is cardboard, they don't come in their own carry case, sadly. However, these are adjustable, which is probably, for me, the number one selling factor. As I haven't always relied on scraps, I have used different types of spacers. Some that have three different legs that are a different thickness and you turn them one way or the other. If you're a floor guy and you're looking at these, you probably know what I'm talking about. And you already know, that's why I just use scraps. I don't buy more of those. They are garbage. These, on the other hand are sort of a game changer. And it's really not that much trouble to keep them on hand no more so than keeping a hold of some scrap pieces of vinyl plank. In any case, these adjust from 1/4 inch to 1 inch (6mm to 25mm), these spacers are perfect for both standard and extra-large expansion gaps. In the description they claim, these are made of premium, high-impact hard plastic, and that these spacers are built to withstand the pressure of flooring installation without cracking or deforming. So a little disclaimer, I don't do flooring day in and day out (industrially). I have done it before, I will do it again, but I don't always have flooring jobs and I haven't actually had the opportunity to use these yet. So I can't speak to their durability in that regard. I can say that I look forward to using them for a change. And I will update this review to further inform on how they hold up to that claim. And as I've mentioned, these are available for less than a dollar a piece, it's kind of a no brainer, at the very least, easily worth a shot. ... show more
