If someone is going to be rough or careless with these they won’t last long. You don’t have to treat them like they’re fragile but they’re not entirely sturdy. Other than that I like the color coding, the storage bag and the length to which these will extend. I have only used them so far for marshmallow roasting and not yet for hot dogs. ... show more

We have used the traditional “hotdog forks” on our fires for years. We have them stored in the corner of our garage. They are dirty…constantly falling over…generally in the way! Nice and long and sturdy. Love you can fold them up so they’re not a danger in the dark around the camp fire. When tip is hot I just pushed down on a board then set aside.
