I read a ton of reviews on these and I thought they would be decent cables. I hooked them up to my Shure mic, and I thought my mic was broken, that there was a short in the wire or something. There was a buzzing sound whenever I touched my mic or the cord, the buzzing sound was quietly there even when I wasn't touching it. Sometimes it got louder for no reason at all. I ordered two of these, and tried them both. Same result. I thought maybe this was typical in this price range. Luckily, a day or two after ordering these 10ft cables, I came across the D'addario 25 ft Cables. I ordered them but didn't cancel these ones in case they didn't ship in time. Everything turned up on the same day. I hooked up the D'addarios next, and the sound was silent. My mics sounded better than ever. The D'addarios cost about $2 more. Personally, I probably won't order this brand again. There's higher quality in the same price range. ... show more

I bought two each of the 10-foot and 15-foot black cables for evaluation. They were well-packaged - cable attached to relatively stiff cardboard carrier and packaged in resealable plastic bag. I like that the name, LyxPro. is on the connector shells and on the cable. The company "claims" the cable - no "wonder what this is" here! The connectors seem well-made, and have a proper cable grip/strain relief. The cable itself is quite supple and, freshly unpackaged, did not retain a 'set'. There was no problem with either connector in attaching to or detaching from equipment. Signal quality (without any measurements) absolutely fine. I'll be ordering more of these! ... show more

I ordered two colors of these for a quick "I need it now" job to patch between two panels. They sounded good from other reviews, and I was not disappointed. The cable used is very flexible and has a good "heft" to it. Connectors are metal and well constructed. Do check that the cable grip is tight though.. both needed to be snugged up more.
