I’m sure it was timing, but I just bought 8 full-size bottles for $2.50 apiece For the past few years, they’ve been at least twice that. Basically ‘non-perishable,’ our household is now set for more than a year. Update: Being I’m always seeking new ways to fix chronic ‘problems,’ I’ve learned since my order that the source of my under-rim jet ‘dirt’ (not reachable with a toilet brush or the Lysol gel) is due to mold buildup in the bowl’s fresh water in-rim channel. To confirm, several days after I’d cleaned the bowl with the product, I poured a third of a jug of (high acidity) cleaning vinegar into the tank and bowl inlet tube. Cleaning vinegar wont damage porcelain, hardware, rubber gaskets, or septic systems when used smartly. After an hour, I flushed. Two days later (and lots of use!), I repeated the cleaning vinegar treatment. Lo and behold, no more jet residue! My point is, no bowl cleaner can fix what it can’t reach, and bacteria starts in the tank and interior parts. Treat that first, wait a few days after many flushes and other water use, THEN use the LYSOL Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner Gel. Because it’s nasty enough to have to clean a toilet bowl, and to have the tank fight is Sisyphusian! Update about 1 year later: a bottle I just opened keeps leaking from the spout, even though I closed it after I used the product. I didn’t realize it did until too late — I left the bottle on my deep blue Corian sink counter overnight. The next day, I went to put the bottle back in my cabinet, only to discover the leaking and had eaten the very color out of my counter! The product’s active ingredient is hydrochloric acid rather than bleach, and is even more destructive. So now I’m trying to restore the counter’s color but having only minimal success. Looks like I’ll have to sand the spot down and reseal!

About 6 months ago I tried some of those toilet tablets made to toss into the tank for cleaning purposes. The product was made by the nation's biggest name in bleaching products. Within 48 hours the tablet showed no intention of cleaning my toilets, but it did deposit a blue ring in the toilet bowl that I've tried to remove for months. Nothing worked. Then I tried 4TH Pumice Stone for Toilet Bowl Cleaning and Scouring. I went to work, following directions, and soon developed an effective technique. Dipping the pumice bar into water and using the handle to carefully angle along the contours with medium pressure, I started with the older toilet. Within 20-25 minutes, I had removed the ring! Sure it takes a little effort, but after trying every thing else for months, this work was worth it! I rinsed and wiped the toilet well and then used LYSOL Power Toilet Bowl Cleaner Gel for the first time to complete the job. The gel stays on the sides of the bowl while lighting scouring and cleaning under the rim thoroughly. I finished the task after wiping down the toilet and left the sudsy, clean-smelling product to disinfect completely! I cannot recommend these 2 items highly enough; and I will copy/paste this review for the Lysol cleaner as well. And the 2 items, with 4 bottles of Lysol and 2 pumice bars cost less than $20; I still have 1 and 1/2 pumice bars and 3+ bottles of Lysol!
