I used this product to insulate around a class A wood stove pipe to cut down on the draft from the 2 inch buffer box for the roof penetration. Seams to be working well. I beleave that this is real ceramic insulation as I have cut lots of fiberglass and rockwool insulation in my day and this feels much stiffer as you cut it. A good pair of insulation shears cuts this cleanly and well. I see how it would be a challenge to cut this with regular scissors or a knife. ... show more
