I originally bought one as part of my Renaissance Faire costume to wrap over a tank top and wear with an underbust corset to give me a little bit more warmth and modesty and while it worked great for that I also realized it’s just beautiful and flattering on its own. I don’t tie in front, I actually wrap it around and tie in the back. Doing this gives way more coverage and actually helps my small bust look a bit bigger (I’m a 32AA, honestly a 30AA if that existed). I like pairing with a crop top and high waisted skirts/pants so I’m not showing too much skin. The material is beautiful it’s silky but textured (almost like a subtle linen feel) and the material has a really pretty hint of luminosity; it’s not shimmery nor is it shiny like a bathing suit more like a raw silk look. This is a super cute top, especially for me being plus. It’s transparent to an extent, but only because I was sent the wrong color. I ordered burgundy, but received the bright red.. I can say the lighter color is cute with a darker bralette, though. I had issues with shipping and my first order was misdelivered and lost. The second order had me hopeful after having to wait longer and I was super excited, but the color was the one disappointment. If you’re wanting a tighter fit, size down. This is one of my cutest tops 5 feet 1 150 pounds purchased a shirt in a large perfectly flattering fit. Comfortable easy to tie does not move once you tie it it’s not see-through. It’s a good fit. You can wear it anywhere dress it up dress it down beautiful top.
