these black roses are beautiful... I love that the stems and leaves are a darker green to look more realistic. I laid them out for two days after taking out of the package to let them fluff up. worked perfectly. I'm an anatomy student and my desk's Decor shows it and these black roses blend right in! These artificial roses were good for the price. But they are not very high quality. They seem to be made of plastic, even the rose buds. I'm not sure what type of material the actual flowers are but they make a crunching sound when touched and they are crushed in some places. They are good for decorating casual rooms but I wouldn't use for weddings or formal events. I like them because they are silver, you get a good amount of them and they are long and fill my tall vase. When I saw these white roses, they were exactly what I was looking for. Once, they arrived, I could not believe how pretty they were. They just looked so real. Friends actually went over to the vase to smell them and could not believe they were faux. These roses even feel like the real roses do. One thing I do with faux roses is to put some rose oil on a cotton ball and place it in the vase with the faux roses. If you are looking for some real-looking roses. you better buy these.
