I had got a blanket for my birthday from a friend. However, I felt like it was too heavy - so I was on the lookout for another blanket. My hairdresser actually showed me this and said she really liked it on her bed. Needless to say there was a coupon on the Amazon site and I used that when I ordered this to get a little bit of money off - which helped! Once I got this on my bed I was absolutely in love with this blanket! I realized I don’t like heavier blankets, I like lighter blankets, and this blanket is very light. It’s almost like having a sheet on your bed. I actually sleep with another thin quilt/blanket underneath it (instead of a top sheet) and it’s the perfect weight for me. It keeps me very very warm but not uncomfortably warm. I usually tend to turn my heat down a little bit at night and this is perfect to slide under, and I feel very comfortable! I actually liked this so much that I decided to buy one for my son too. I felt like he deserved a new blanket too. The only issue I have is I really like a blue version of this blanket too LOL - so I might actually buy a third blanket just to keep it on hand! I would very much recommend this blanket. I know there are some reviews on here that aren’t great - but I think if you’re looking for a light blanket that will keep you warm and be comfortable 👉🏻 this is a good one to start with! I don’t think it’s that noisy. It looks good on my bed. I am very pleased with it and like I said I bought I already bought another one - and I’m considering a third one and at this point! I might just get rid of all my so-so blankets in my house (and I have about 7 of them!) and just keep these on hand! I think they’re wonderful! I think if you watched for a coupon the price is also very reasonable. These will make a great gift for friends and family. I am very happy with my down blanket and I would very much recommend this to anyone asking me what kind of blanket I use!

so 2 things i want to point out that i was looking for when i was vetting reviews for this expensive ass comforter. 1. if ur looking for a pitch black comforter for your bed , this is not the comforter . although this comforter is amazing and super soft , it is more of a charcoal balck rather than the “black” that is is advertised as. additionally it is fluffy , pictures do not do it justice tbh , this is the exact comforter that i was looking for . for a clear understanding , this comforter does not look like the picture at all , it is however about 2-3 inches thick (in my opinion). it is insanely soft and comfy but again it is charcoal black and it doesn’t look EXACTLY like the pic but it is fluffy

My wife and I do the Scandinavian sleep method where we each have our own top sheets and comforter on the bed. She runs hot and I run cold. I usually sleep with heating pad. This comforter is the same quality as the ones found in Hilton Hotels for $250 a night. It is light weight and warm. If you hold it up to the light you’ll notice that each pocket isn’t completely full and the fill material is at one side or the other. I suppose you could spend your time moving it around to achieve the picture but there’s no need, it’s warm enough. I concur with another review that you need to fluff in dryer for 30 minutes in cold and then 2 minutes medium. That fluffs it up. I no longer need my heating pad or any additional sheets except the typical thin bedsheet under it. I’d say it’s medium noise for the fabric and the fabric is soft. I haven’t felt any feathers, only down. I am allergic to feather/birds but I have not had any reaction to this comforter. I love this comforter.

Pro: I was soft and was a bright white. Not heavy so to be too overbearing Con: Although the dimensions are bigger than a Cal King, it still did not meet the bottom of my runner boards on both sides as you can see in photos. I probably need a Texas King comforter. And of course, doesn’t look like picture…….but maybe this can help! At any rate, I would recommend it overall. And as far as the ‘fluff-but-not-like-the-picture’ factor’, I took it out of the package (still rolled up) and put it in dryer on Air Only setting 3 times and no fluff……then I changed the dryer setting but not the position of comforter to high heat for two minutes and it worked but only on one side because I still had it rolled up…….ugh! So, I would suggest unfolding COMPLETELY ( in laundry room ) and then put in clean dryer on high heat for not more than 3 minutes 😎. Heat supports the ‘fluff-factor’.
