It's heavier than a regular bedspread or comforter. I paired it with the Bedsure duvet which I love. I don't hear the crinkle sound. I normally have 4 comforters on my bed in the winter and 3 the rest of the year. I paired this with a Pure Beech bedspread that's of nice weight. My husband and I were warm and comfortable all night. I’ve had this comforter for about a week now and I LOVE it! It fits on my split top California king bed, and it’s so comfortable and luxurious. I was definitely skeptical when I first received it because it arrived in a vacuum sealed package, so it looked smaller than expected. Once I followed the instructions to remove the comforter from the packaging and let it air out, it fluffed out to this beautiful, luxurious blanket! I’m SO glad I found this company because I’ve been looking for a comforter like this for a LONG time with a lot of disappointing purchases. 10/10 would recommend this comforter!

(4 stars because of the inconvenience). I first purchased this item and gave it a bad review....the seller reached out to me highly concerned. I received an apology as it appears what I received was defective. I was offered a refund, to keep the item and also they'd send me a replacement. I accepted the replacement, refused the refund and donated the 1st comforter. I refused the refund because I has highly impressed that this small businesses owner really showed concern for that a customer received a defective item and was they were not pleased to have a dissatisfied customer. The replacement is definitely a better comforter than the first. No smell, very warm and just the right look and feel. This re-review was not prompted or requested and I'll definitely shop with them again. Just excellent customer service!

I am so glad I ordered this winter weight duvet! This duvet is quite possibly the most luxurious thing I have ever owned! It is intentionally heavy, soft, silky, and beautiful! I want to mention that it fit my queen size bed with perfection! A queen size bed is 60x80 in. With a 90x90-in duvet, it fits my bed quite well and looks amazing! I do use a duvet cover, so I purchased a very nice duvet cover for it. Putting on the duvet cover was a dream because the ties worked perfectly. I've been using this duvet for several days now and I feel like I'm sleeping like a dream! This comfortor is so simple to use and cover. If you are looking for a luxurious duvet, I know how difficult the search can be. If you are considering this one, you should definitely purchase it! I'm so very very glad I did!

Super disappointed in the lasting smell. It smelled when I unpackaged it so we had it dry cleaned asap but the smell lingered. We have cleaned it two more times since and the smell never leaves. Smells kind of chemically but more like a wet dog type smell. The product itself is very nice as far as warmth, weight, feel and fluff but the smell is so overpowering that we can not use it. Very upset. Update… the seller reached out and made things right. I really appreciate their effort to make sure I was satisfied with the product. Companies like this make me feel comfortable ordering from them again.

First, we purchased a king size for our queen size bed, as there is always an issue with us trying to take all the blankets from each other, lol. This comes in a small vacuum sealed bag, so it will take a couple days for it to fluff up. I saw that others put theirs in the dryer, ours just went straight on the bed. After a few days, it will fluff up. It does have a little bit of a wrinkled look to it, but that does not bother us at all. While this does seem like a luxury comforter, it does have a little noise when moving - it is not 100% soft cotton feel. It is also very thick compared to those typical big box store comforters, and a bit heavier, so it is warmer, and can get hot - would not call this an all year comforter, as our ac stays at 68, and we have a fan going, and it still gets warm. However, it is still extremely comfortable, and we love that we got the bigger size to have some extra to move around and coddle. This stitching quality throughout and especially all around the edges is top quality. I would easily buy another one when/if needed, and definitely recommend.
