Each sturdy shelf is 1.5" thick and has a textured surface with a retaining lip to keep products in place.     • versatile cart
This cart first arrived with parts missing. I emailed the seller, and they immediately contacted the manufacturer, who in turn, shipped me replacement parts, with no fuss or hassle. Good experience in that regard. This cart is well designed to snap together in a matter of minutes, without the need for tools. Once assembled, what you have is an amazingly strong cart that rolls easily over carpet, hard floors, and rough decking. We got ours to use as a deep-fry station on our back porch and deck. We can easily roll the cart to the one available outlet when cooking. (We all know what short cords these appliances come with) This is safer than trying to drape extension cords about. Once done, we roll the cart away from heat-sensitive items while the fryer cools, then park it where the deep fryer stays clean and dry, but out of the way. I did get a heat resistant mat to place between the cart and the fryer, just as a precaution against melting or scaring the surface from the heat of the fryer. This system is working great for us! The two shelves beneath are used for misc. storage. This cart is capable of being used in many different ways, in all kinds of settings, with all kinds of materials... for anything that needs to be moved from one place to another, and back again.     • Great lightweight cart!
We ordered this cart as a Father's Day gift for my wife's dad who loves tinkering on cars. I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to be heavy duty enough but once the cart came I was relieved to see that it was very sturdy. It's made out of heavy duty plastic and the casters are quite sturdy as well. The father-in-law loved it, btw! Here are the high points about the cart that I really liked: -Heavy duty plastic. I set my 110lb wife on it and wheeled her around no problem! -Sturdy casters(all 4 swivel) -Super easy assembly. You might need a mallet to set the casters, I was able to just push them in. -No wobble at all. -2 of the casters have a wheel lock which is quite handy. This cart is perfect for my overhead projector. I use it for teaching. It is durable, lightweight, well made, and affordable. Amazon is my favorite shopping place of all. It is so simple to shop comparatively and I love the customer comments. I learn so much from others input. This cart was a real challenge to find since I wasn't sure what to call it, but I could see many uses for it.     • Tuffy Utility Cart - Lightweight but sturdy!
The cart was easy to put together. It is light enough to carry, but still very sturdy. The locking casters made it stay where I put it. Overall, a very good medium duty utility cart. I put a piece of plywood on top to carry a turtle terrarium for my daughter. She keeps it in one room and can move it out very easily to give the turtles some natural light once in a while. This is a sturdy cart with commercial-grade casters, and I'm very pleased with it. However, I'm more impressed by the customer service of the vendor. I had an issue with a part and I reached out for help, but not really expecting any. They responded almost immediately, were extremely courteous, and completely resolved the problem within 48 hours. Perfect size, sturdy, rolls easily, easy to put together and has been in my garage for a couple of years now with a small refrigerator on top. It's not huge and I was able to fit it exactly where I wanted it...under the steps in the garage. Does what it was intended to do and the price was great.
