Description

EXCELLENT TOOL FOR PIANO LEARNING For piano beginners, it is very challenging to memorize all the keys on the piano in a short period of time, which prevents us from playing the piano right away. Even more frustrating is that the enthusiasm for learning the piano that we just ignited is likely to be extinguished. As you know, learning the piano is a process, but we can still use tools to make the process faster and easier. The BEATBIT note strips present the key notes in a visual way, helping you to start playing and practicing immediately when you are not yet familiar with the keys.

  • Perfect for helping beginner players!
Color: Classic Black
I am a music teacher and give beginner piano lessons. I absolutely love this product, since it is easily removed. This way I can gradually take it away so the student is not dependent on it. This would not be the case for the stickers you can buy. It fits snugly near the back of the key so it does not affect the player’s technique. Wonderful! ... show more

  • A clever tool to learn piano
Color: Classic Black
I have to admit, this is a pretty ingenious little accessory. I am brand new to piano and have never been able to read music proficiently. I’ve tried to avoid using things like this as a crutch, but I really think in the beginning, this will be a great training aid. Originally, I was going do this on the cheap and get some blank adhesive labels and write in the notes and stick them all over. Not only was that going to take forever and look totally stupid, but when it comes time to remove them, well, that wasn’t a project I was looking forward to. I saw this and decided to give it a try. The item comes in three strips which is very helpful. If you have a smaller keyboard than a full 88 keys, you don’t have to cut one long strip. You can also remove just a portion if you feel comfortable with your fingering in certain areas of the keyboard but want to keep maybe the low or high portion on there. They are packed in a plastic box that is built like Fort Knox. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to open it but your stuff will be safe and secure. I don’t know much about piano construction or how consistent it is across brands and types, so I can’t say if this will fit your particular application. However for my keyboard, it fit perfectly. It looks great, is unobtrusive and when I feel brave, I can lift it off. Then when I realize I have no idea what I am doing, I can simply put it back on. It does not impact playing or have any adverse effects on key response. Then again, I don’t know if I am the best judge of that based on how inexperienced I am. A great training tool for players of all ages. ... show more

  • A great learning tool.
Color: Classic Black
This looked like a useful product when I ordered it and I was not disappointed. The labels are in three separate strips covering all seven octaves on the piano. This partitioning is quite useful as it also allows you the versatility to use on an electronic keyboard as just two of the strips cover those instruments with just five octaves. The strips are pliable and are easy to apply and remove. They fit the keys without any interference and do not have any effect on your attack. They fit tightly and do not move while practicing and have no effect on weighted keys. The letters are easy to see from behind the keyboard and not visible at all to anyone who happens to be watching you perform. The only difficult thing about this product is opening the hard plastic case they come in. There are four separate locking points of closure, two in the front and one on each side, making it somewhat difficult to open. I have toolboxes that don't close as securely as this product's case does so remember that it will open but you have to "unlatch" all four points to do so. Somebody was really thinking when they came up with this learning tool. This has to be one of those products invented by a musician who was able to translate their experience into a great idea. It's practical, easy to use, and is a great device for both those who are teaching the piano as well as those who are learning how to play. I highly recommend this as a practical hands-on tool for those folks who have a real desire to learn how to play. I see it as invaluable and I think you will too. ... show more
