Let me start by saying I'm the kind of person who likes a thicker/heavier sheet. So when I took these into of the package I instantly said I wasn't going to like these sheets because of how thin they are. I toyed with returning them but thought for the price I might as well just go ahead and give them a try. I washed and dried them and every time I handled them I thought to myself that they're too thin for what we like. Putting them on our bed I kep thinking they're too thin. I thought for sure we were going to hate them. But after only a few days of sleeping on them we have fallen in love with these sheets. I have since purchased 2 more sets. They are a thinner sheet but let me tell you...still give them a try because they are a nice comfortable sheet.

Below is my original review. This is an update. I stand corrected in stating the wrong size pillow cases were sent. After receiving the second set I ordered, I realize the pillow cases are for king size pillows; however, the width of the cases are tight - I wish they were a couple of inches wider - but the length is perfect. Due to the width issue, I will keep the four star rating. I did get five cases in this first order but only four in the second one. The sheet set was received with five standard pillow cases and not the four king size cases as indicated. I really didn't realize that until after they were washed. Luckily, I was able to get them on my king size pillows, but they are very snug. Despite that, I like the way they feel way better than the 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets i am use to. I like them so much, I ordered another set in a different color. Those arrived today with the correct size king pillow cases, and there were only four. They are very lightweight, so we'll have to see how durable they are. If not for the snafu with the pillow cases, I would have given them five stars.

I washed my Kirkland 680 thread count pillow cases and these "bamboo" pillow cases and you can really tell the difference. The former are much heavier, they retain much more water, and take a lot longer to dry. The latter are like crepe, thin and take about 2 minutes to dry in a lower than cotton mode. Does this mean one is better than the other? Different for sure. I don't know: I guess I'm impressed that you don't have to wait an hour for these sheets and pillow cases to dry; you save time and use less energy. I haven't slept in them yet, but I suspect they will be cooler and softer. I'll update this review. So far so good -- cheaper by a lot and they seem as good, if not better than the standard, expensive Kirkland 680 thread count sheets. They have a different feel, but I'm starting to like them a lot -- more than the Kirkland's. The infamous problem of the fitted sheet not cornering well doesn't quite apply to these sheets. They make the fitted sheet more than most beds (especially those without a pillow top) need. The Kirkland sheets fit more snuggly, but that can be translated into you have to tug and strain to get them on, but, once on, snug as a drum. Versus these sheets have some tangling out of the sides -- too much material, but you can tug the excess in and it seems to stay. But, don't miss the main drift, soft and nice, cheap, and very neat, given less to wrinkling and the color seems a bold and bright white.

These sheets are really nice. I’m so glad I took the leap and purchased them. I wanted them for the guest bedroom and of course, I wanted them nice. They feel like silk and look like it! Mine are yellow and they fit perfectly and look perfect when you turn the covers back, it just makes you smile. The directions for care recommended you wash on delicate. I did that and they came out great. I’m very happy with my purchase. BTW, they came the next day. Great!

I don’t say I love these sheets lightly, my husband and I are very picky about the feel of our sheets on our king bed. We’d found a brand we loved we’ve used for years at BB&B that was 800 thread count- I can’t find it anywhere now. I was a little nervous because I bought a different set of sheets last year on Amazon with a lot of great reviews that are just okay. These sheets are so nice, I feel like I’m enveloped in softness. The price is amazing compared to most sheet sets we’ve bought in the past. I’m going to get a second set!

When it comes to bedding, sometimes I go high end and sometimes I look for affordabiliiy. When I received these I washed them with extra fabric softenenr and used some Downy fabric crystals. I like lots of pillows and the extra pillow cases were nice. These sheets are great for the price. I will be buying theses again in different colors.
