The towel is nice, the wash clothes are pretty cheap (very thin) and the packaging was excessive! Some of the wash cloths had 6 pieces of tape and when I pulled them off they pulled lots of fiber off the already very thin wash cloths. I'll keep them because overall, they were a good price, but I definitely feel like I got what I paid for as opposed to a really good deal. Oh, well... just won't order again. ... show more

I read a lot of reviews stating the towel & washcloths are extremely thin and cheaply made. I decided to give it a try anyway. After receiving I found the towel is so thin that I could see through it when held up to light. In this case, the poor reviews are confirmed. I know my baby looks like an offended ET in this picture but anyways !! This towel is adorable and it has some stretch to it as well so you can do a perfect swaddle ((don’t judge my swaddling skills I’m a new mommy)) and the mini rags I use to keep his face dry during bath time or to wipe eye boogies off his face even when we’re not doing bath time. I have seen a lot of reviews complaining about the wash clothes. It's true they are very thin, but that makes them perfect for a newborn--they get into all the nooks under the chin, rolls around the thighs, and in private areas perfectly. The towel is also pretty thin, so I personally wouldn't use this set for a winter baby where warmth is a consideration as well as just drying off, but other than that it's a decent set for a reasonable price. Wash cloth are the perfect kind that I was looking for (they are the super thin kind, which was what I wanted); hooded towel is super cute and long enough to wrap baby in completely after a bath. The elephant design looks just like the picture. The material is not the thicker towel types, just an FYI of that's something you're looking for. This is one of those you get what you pay for items. The towel is adorable but quite thin. The washcloths can hardly be called washcloths, they are very small thin pieces of terry like material with crap stitching around the edges. They are taped and packed up nicely, but when you take the tape off it leaves holes in the material because it is SO thin. I would not buy again. ... show more

I like that this towel is thinner than adult bath towels. It does more than an adequate job of drying my baby, but it doesn't take up too much room in her laundry or in the linen closet. Its very soft and very cute.

I stopped doing reviews, but this one I had to break my promise. I saw this and thought how cute; this would make a good towel for the expected arrival. Boy, was I wrong. These towels are THIN. This would probably work for a newborn born in the summer or a preemie, but if you're expecting in the fall or winter, do not buy. It's not good for keeping a baby warm after a bath. The washcloths are also thin, but I could live with that: babies grow and the washcloths change. ... show more
