This collapsible water bottle appears to be durable. The flip up drinking tube works fine and does not leak. It is probably too heavy, given the amount of liquid it holds. The deal-breaker for me was that it gave the water a chemical taste I could not tolerate. I have tried several silicon water bottles, in the hope I could get away from plastic, but every one I have tried has had the same chemical tase problem. ... show more

I love this, light weight, compact, and the straw feature is very cool. There was no review that explains how the STRAW works so I will mention it is just a spout so you have to tilt the bottle just like you would drinking from any bottle in order to get the water to come out through the spout, it does not have an actual straw in the bottle, obviously, because you would not be able to collapse it. The Luuttle 20oz Collapsible Silicone Water Bottle intrigued me with its collapsible design, but a few issues left me underwhelmed. The plastic smell that greeted me upon opening the bottle was overpowering and persistent, tainting the water’s taste even after numerous washes. The rubbery exterior, intended for better grip, made fitting the bottle into backpack holders a struggle. Moreover, the bottle isn’t airtight; squeezing it too hard causes water to leak out. On the plus side, the collapsible feature proved useful for saving space during travel and storage. Purchased this for a Disneyl trip in July. Conveniently sized but cheaply made. Had to constantly refill due to water becoming warm. Purchased a white bottle which became yellow. Decided to toss. Would not recommend this product.
