We decided to use curtains to cover a few closet doorways instead of using/purchasing doors. We wanted something that would last, but that would also match our aesthetics and dress the doorway up if we weren't going to use a door. These curtains are a very heavy, quality material, and the ties that attach them to the curtain rod are also very thick and quality. We love the soft gray color, and the bit of ruffling at the top adds just enough variety among all the gray. We also like that you can adjust the height of the curtain by a few inches, depending on how you tie the ties (you can also change the look of them by tying them in a variety of ways). I got these for my daughter’s bedroom, mainly for decor. As soon as I opened them it was evident I had made a good purchase. They were heavy and great quality. They were wrinkles when they came but I sprayed it with water in a spray bottle and it was better. They do filter out a lot of light but it just changes the color of the room, it is not completely black out. I thought these curtains would be more frilly-ruffle appearing, and a sheer material. It's more like a heavy cotton though and looks more like farmhouse country decor. I love how they tie at the top, so there is no need to fuss with a curtain rod. They just look a little plain. I was able to add a touch of silver with Christmas decor to make it pop more.
