I bought 4 panels (2 sets) of the 108” light gray curtains for my son’s room. I already have blinds in his room, but wanted to add an extra layer to keep sunlight from coming into his room in the morning. I was hoping that would make him sleep in longer. Apparently, it’s his internal clock and not the sunlight coming in from the window. In any event, I was pleased by the thick heavy quality of the curtains, at a fraction of the price in retail stores. I didn’t care too much what they looked like since they would be in his room, but after seeing them, I would consider them for the rest of the house. I like this because it is very affordable. The fabric is heavy enough and lovely in terms of how it drapes. It is machine, washable, and durable. It’s water resistant and stain resistant. It doesn’t seem to catch pet hair. And it offers a lovely solution to an overly bright room, as well as offers a good amount of noise reduction. I use it as a curtain for a doorway, and I was able to use multiple curtains to create a very, pretty non-tacky doorway, and it really is effective in terms of blocking sounds from downstairs. It also completely blocks out the light. Oh, it also is light weight and, I have gotten so many sets of the specific curtain that I’ve used them all over the house and I just think for the price and the beauty of this product I’m going to be adding it to the downstairs ... show more

Nice solid weight to these curtains - not at all sheer BUT they are not blackout curtains. They are room darkening but definitely not blackout. I bought 3 sets to go across 3 single windows on one big rod.
