Putting "Room Darkening" is decieving, which is why I removed two stars. If anything, they brighten up the room. The seller should remove this from the title, because it's made me cross to find out after spending money... That they aren't going to serve their true purpose at all. Once light hits these from one side, the other side basically GLOWS. Our Baby wakes the moment she sees light of day. Any light at all. She's new to the world, and annoyingly, her room happens to face the sun as it rises (something beyond our control). We have blinds in her room, but wanted to cover the gaps with curtains. At first we got sheer ones (poor idea), now we added a second layer with these. We wanted esthetic with darkening effect... The description of these was very important to us, because any any new parent will tell you "sleep is a beautiful thing". Light glows right through and brightens her room up. Which makes us very exhausted parents who never get enough sleep. Even her baby moniter shows that its day vision instead of night vision. These curtains are basically just something pretty to look at on your window. If you love these curtains for the appearance only... however if you want to darken a room... You will be infinately dissapointed, because these are certainly not for you. If you are like our child and can't sleep when you see light through your eyelids, look elsewhere. These are DECORATION ONLY! If you think they are SUPER pretty (Which they are), but need room darkening, you will have to buy other curtains to layer with these. I'm keeping them because they are so pretty. W ill have to find another layer that will actually, truly darken babies room. For our sanity.

I love the idea of these. They are not really room darkening in the sense that they will darken your room. They will dim the light, but they still leave the sun really shinning in. The ones I received have tears all through them and the stitches are pulled out at the top. Both panels have the, not creases, but threads pulled apart.... It looks like it got crimped in the machines that were making them. They are soft, a fake fabric feeling soft. The lint and fur of animals or human hair stick to it like a magnet. Not sure if I'm keeping these. I get they were not super expensive, but there should be some quality check and that didn't happen with these.

These curtains are great! I was nervous about ordering them after reading reviews that patterns weren’t correct and lengths were different. They are a nice quality thick material. The colors are pretty, and I like that they are a creamy white and not stark white.

I love the curtains. They are well made and luxurious looking. That said, I only have them fourvstars because the background color is not off-white, as the companies photos show, but more of a medium cream. I had bought them to go with a comforter I already had that has a off-white background. These don't go together well. BUT this small set-back has convinced me to get the quilt that goes with the curtains and another set of curtains for the side windows. I am very pleased with these but want buyers to know that the colors are not accurate in the advertising.

I wanted a new year look for my home which displayed a positive feeling . The curtain are of great quality and will buy again and again. The lush brand seem of a good quality standards. The golden and red are old curtain I had so my sister and I decided to be a little more creative. Overall the reveiws has help determine of my purchasing decision. I plan to hand wash the curtain cause my washer take 45 minutes to wash however I recommend a setting of delicate wash cause these are luxury curtains. The packaging of the curtain was in a long flat cardboard box wish made it a little expensive when paying the shipping company up on the curtain arrival. I am a happy customer and I would buy them all over again.

These arrived today and I just put them up. The colors were exactly what they appeared to be in the product image. The base is cream rather than white. You can see the difference between it and the true white baseboards/fireplace surround. These are fairly lightweight and I would not describe them as room darkening. They are more like light diffusing—which is what I had hoped for. These are not expensive draperies. As such, I advise you hang them and then stand back to admire—rather than inspect the seams :)

I ordered multiple curtains to try them out in my kitchen, which has very long windows in the eat-in part. I kept coming back to these as the colors were exactly what I needed but I just wasn't sure because there was only color at the top. So I ordered it anyway, along with a bunch of others that had flowers and designs all over instead. As I pulled them all out of the box, the patterns were too large, too garish, too...much. These curtains, though, look GREAT. I had to buy two sets to get the fullness I needed, and I hooked them open on the sides and the effect is stunning -- the color on the top is wonderful but the bottoms don't look too plain at all. Some concerns I have is how well these will hold up after washing and how dingy the ivory may look over time. But for the moment, I love them, they were a good buy, and I highly recommend.
