The media could not be loaded. I bought this 4 pack Par Can so that I could add accent lighting to displays at my store. I needed something with a remote so that I may change the color or the patterns when Needed. These lights did not disappoint! I like that they are lightweight so it can be screwed into drywall without a worry and the brackets are easy to fold over. The lights themselves are bright and they can be set to any color. If you don’t want one solid color, it has different modes from music, to strobe, to color cycling, etc. It really is easy to use and if you lose the remote there are actual buttons on the back of the light. Although I don’t see myself needing the function if anyone ever needs these to be synchronized, they are DMX compatible so that can be done. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, I am getting 4 lights for the price of one Chauvet light and they do the same function. I also had a question and the company responded via email within 5 minutes and were very helpful. I really recommend you give these a glance and consider them for your project, you won’t be disappointed. I posted a picture of one of the Par cans after it was mounted in the ceiling and you can tell just what great accenting it provides. ... show more

Postives 1) Great value 2) They work fine and look good. 3) DMX in master/slave works by just plugging in the DMX cables. No DMX programming necessary for that feature to get all the lights sync'd. Negatives 1) the power cables are really short and built-in. You pretty much need an extension cable per light 2) they have a tiny short screw that connects the two "arms" of the light bracketing and it's very easy to have that screw pop out when you try to make adjustments to those arms. I've already lost one and am thinking of a way to re-engineer to make it better 3) If you plug in an XLR/DMX cable, it's hard to get it to stand properly because the arms aren't tall enough to cover the length of the dmx head. This worked great for a large space. The controllers are sometimes tricky since 1 can control all the lights! Even with sunlight and and in a bright room, the colors still shined very bright. It was a very simple set up and they're very lightweight which makes it easy to store.

One of the 4 lights did not work. Plugged in and nothing. One of the four remotes had a bad battery. OK lights for the most part. Forget trying to do anything with the remote. Bought a DMX board to run them. Not real sturdy lights, but if you hang them or are careful in transporting them they should be fine. ... show more

I bought these lights for a 3-piece band I put together for a few gigs in-between my main gig. The price was very reasonable and I was worried about brightness and quality, but these lights did not disappoint. They are bright and easy to use. They do have to be assembled (just the stand part), but the assembly was easy. I used them from the floor as up-lighting, but I imagine they would be even better from a tower/tripod stand. At the event one of the lights was defective and the screws came out of the stands of two. Granted, Amazon replaced the defective ones but I haven't had a chance to use the replacement lights yet. Fingers crossed that they work.
