The Charcoal Grey Damask is a dark green, not the grey that is shown in the picture. There is no ombré at all with them either. The front of the mat is the dark green color I have in the picture and the back is white, like they couldn’t finish the mat completely. The quality of the fabric is disappointing to top it off. Beware your taking a 50/50 chance when you purchase these mats in this color pattern. I take partial blame because I assumed they were actually normal place mats, however, I'm shocked that someone would actually sell fabric with print on it. I purchased these placemats for my vintage travel trailer. The colors and patterns are really nice. The fabric seems to be of good quality, but it is thin. This may not be important to others, but I thought it would be good to have mats that could protect the table from hot plates. I haven't laundered them so don't know how they wash up. Very disappointed. Super cheap fabric with no padding or anything at all. Reminds me of 7th grade home ec class where you cut fabric then sewed edges. Shouldn't be more than $5 for all 4.

Bought the charcoal damask and they are basically a dark green, not grey/black. Also super light weight and not the best quality. I ordered for my Halloween table based on description but will be returning.

I’m very happy with these placemats. They are very lightweight but durable. The stitching on the edges is quality. The ombré coloring is very subtle, being only slightly lighter in their centers; so attractive.
