I left these out for about 2 weeks in sub freezing weather, wind and rain. I weighted them down with sand in sandwich bags and placed a battery operated votive size candle in each. They held up remarkably well. Afterwards, I took them inside to make sure they were completely dry before packing them away for next year. I expected to throw them away but was pleasantly surprised that they can be reused. Only suggestion I can make is that they add cut-out designs (stars, snowflakes, etc.) to the bags. ... show more

I have used these for 2 seasons now. We do luminaria on my seat Christmas Eve. This is the second year I have used these bags. They don't disintegrate at the first sign of snow. We put sand in the bottom and a battery operated tea light. It lasts for days!

Tough, durable, waterproof, reusable, way easier to set up than plastic luminaria. Only problem was that the plastic transmits less light than the paper bags we used to use, and the electric LED tealights we bought just weren't quite bright enough to effectively light up the luminaria. These surprised me! They are water proof, free standing ( but would need rocks or sand in bottom if lots of wind). The solid white color allows you to use for a variety of occasions. Used led flameless tea lights and it looks magical.

These worked perfectly. I really like that they are a little heavier and that they are a thin plastic. For halloween, I placed a stone in the bottom with a batter-powered LED tea light and it looked great! I'm going to use them again for the Christmas holiday.

I had to modify these by removing the bottoms for them to work with my current electric luminaries, but the look like bags and stayed on the frames well. Only a bout of very high winds removed a couple. I also used permanent markers to draw on them for Halloween, did great and lasted in the rain with no problem. ... show more
