They are lighter than heavy work boots, but still have great traction, are weather and water resistant, and have better support than their other boots. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Buy 2 sizes above your normal shoe size or this boot will NOT FIT YOU. THE SIZES ARE EXTREMELY SMALL. So you have to buy at least 2 sizes bigger than what you wear in a normal shoe for this boot to fit you. So for example, if you are a size 10 you need to order a size 12 in this boot. If you don't take my advice you'll be sorry, and you'll have to go through the unnecessary trouble of returning it and then doing what I advised you to do from the start. Other than that, these are Excellent quality boots. I love that they are made of All Synthetic Materials which is what I ALWAYS look for to purchase shoes or clothes. This is the most important thing to me because I don't buy any products made from animals like leather, down, fur etc, because I refuse to let a poor, defenseless, innocent little animal lose their life for trifling, fleeting, insignificant fashion. The Fleece material inside of the boots is Soooo Amazingly Soft, Fluffy, Warm, Cozy and Comfortable and the black rubber sole looks so pronounced, rugged and visually appealing and tough. The boot itself looks like a beautiful velvet-like black. This boot is the best model of the other Lugz models available in my opinion for all these reasons above. Good looking boots. If you're new to this style of boots, make sure you measure your foot and check the size guide. You'll be glad you did. I do recommend to give yourself at least a 1/4 inch of space between your foot measurement and the boot size. Now these boots are taking a while to break in. I've only worn them about 5, 6 times and are still a little stiff. But if you wear them often, they should break in nicely. I'd get these again, I just need to wear them more. ... show more

I have purchased 4 pair of these same brand and size boots on Amazon, this pair didn't fit and wear anything like the other 3 pair. Even the color was a different shade. After wearing them for a week I couldn't wear them. The right foot rubbed my big toe.
