I had a Coolife zipper-less carry-on that survived about 5 years and maybe 200+ trips. Granted, I didn't check it. I don't plan to check this bag. It easily fits in the SWA carry-on and I'm guessing even cheaper flights (Spirit, etc) would be no problem. It is light weight. I think it's lighter than my Coolife bag. It rolls easily. The wheels have spring shocks. I'm not too crazy about that, as it's one more thing to possibly break and they have cheesy little windows that show the springs inside (gimmicky). However, the quality looks good. The latches work nice. One advantage to a really light bag is that I can carry it, instead of wheeling it, when I walk over rough areas. That should help with the longevity. I've only flown with it a few times. If I start having issues, I will update my review.

I was looking for a hard body suitcase with no zippers everywhere online and then I read about the 10 best suitcases for travel and LUGGEX was on the list. When I googled them, it brought me to an Amazon page...I found exactly what I wanted and it was reasonably priced. It's super well made, sleek, and surprisingly stylish. The days of using suitcases with zippers are over for me as I prefer a more secure piece of luggage with no zippers... I love the 360 spinner wheels because it makes the suitcase so easy to maneuver. For anyone wondering about the locking system, you can either enter a 3 digit code of your choosing or not...You can just lock it with the heavy duty precision locks that it has. If you're looking for a sturdy piece of luggage that will give you piece of mind while traveling...LUGGEX no zipper luggage pieces are the real deal! It is hands down the best luggage I've ever purchased.

This thing isn't Pelican-grade durable, but it does seem to take the scuffs and bumps that luggage handlers may impose. Because it's so light, I wouldn't expect it to survive a harsh trip. It's good for domestic ones though. The inner liners both zip up, so it will keep your stuff organized. At least one of them appears water resistant, as for your liquids. It's very thoughtful. The only thing I don't like is that only one side has a tie-down strap in case you want to squish down your clothing. If you wanted to pack, like, two weeks of formalwear or a month of beachwear, you might have a rough time. Then again, if I'm staying somewhere that long, I'll just do a load of laundry while I'm there.

I travel for business and wanted a bag that was good for 4 days of travel that rolls well. Was a little weary after reading the bad reviews and losing one of the hubcaps of the wheels on my very first trip. Other than that the bag is performing well. I have taken it on several 5 trips and it has handled being overstuffed on 2 of trips. It rolls as good or better than than the other bags I have. I does seem a little flimsy but has proven to be a strong bag. I am not sure how it would hold up to the hardship of being checked. I would buy this bag again. My only complaint is the missing hubcap after the first trip with no way of getting it repaired. It is a nice looking carry-on and that one thing does mess up its aesthetics.

I bought two sizes of this suitcase. They have traveled overseas and back twice and held up well. No visible scratches, which has to be because of the finish because we all know TSA is not gentle with your luggage. So they're durable. I love this lock style because it feels much more secure to me than a zipper. No need to hack the lock when there's a zipper because all you have to do is stick a pen in between the teeth and it's open. I also love that in the larger case there's a fully zipped interior compartment on both sides, and in the smaller case it's fully zipped on one side and has a partition with clips on the other so your clothes are still held in place. They have carry handles on two sides, and are very lightweight. Even after you load them up they roll very smoothly and are quiet, and they are very sturdy. The flat top makes a good drink holder in a pinch too.

Had this for half a year and it has survived 2 trans-pacific trips as check-in luggage, with the only damage being scuffs and a plastic wheel cover falling off. Was initially sceptical of the clasp system but they are so much faster and easier to use than a traditional zipper. The big "LuggeX" badge on top is kinda ugly and would have preferred to have no branding but otherwise it looks quite nice.

I have no interest in soft-sided bags with zippers. Maybe that variety is OK for carry-on bags, but definitely contraindicated for checked bags. This hard-sided bag is solidly built and should last many years. I am particularly impressed with the 3 latches, 2 of which have combination locks. These latches are obviously robust, with an intelligent, functional mechanism for securing the case. The wheels also seem very robust. My only disappointment relates to the quality of the liners inside the 2 halves. Seems very cheaply made to me. But it does serve its purpose. This excellent suitcase is a great value for the money.

I have used this suit case less than 5 times. One lock has failed completely. No matter the code used, it always unlocks. I have written to the manufacturer and have received no response. Going in the trash as another “lesson learned” from non brand name products.
