The color is exactly as pictured, and the brown accents on the corners and handles give it a high-end look that makes it seem way more expensive than it is. The material feels much sturdier than I expected for the price. The wheels roll smoothly, the zippers glide without a snag, and the telescoping handle feels solid. The carry-on is a little smaller than my old one, but it's not a dealbreaker, just a good excuse to practice packing smarter! I’m not sure I'll use the smaller bags, but the duffel is a pleasant surprise. It has a ton of useful pockets, and both the duffel and cosmetic bag feel durable and well-made. Overall, this set exceeded my expectations. It looks great, feels durable, and is an absolute steal for the price. I purchased these for a family trip and these are durable, strong and quite classy. They feel and look more luxurious than what we paid for them. The suitcases also fit into themselves which is great for storage when not traveling. I find that wheels are usually my biggest pet peeve but these are smooth as ice and made any weight feel light. On our most recent trip we ended up bringing a lot items home and pushed these suitcases to the limits and the zippers never burst a bit. Very strong. ... show more

This seems like a great luggage set for the price. I've not used it on a trip yet, but I rolled them all around the house and put the handles up/down several times and tried all the zippers several times. I haven't measured it, but the hard-sided carry-on size does seem slightly smaller than the other hard-sided carry-on I was using. I did expect the hard sided composite/ plastic to feel more substantial than it does, so I am a little concerned about its durability (hence 4 stars). I really love the built-in TSA lock feature on each of the suitcases. They were very easy to "program". The toiletry bag is very small; I think you could fit one each (maybe) travel size: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, body wash in there but not much more. The duffel bag is definitely not what I would consider a duffel bag, but I do believe you could use it as your personal item as I believe it will fit underneath an airline seat easily. I really love the quality of this set. It has so much room for all your stuff. The 5 pack makes it not only durable but affordable too which can make traveling easier. The little overnight bags and cosmetic bag is very durable and made really well. The overnight bag has a lot of pockets including an inside waterproof pocket and a way to attach it easily to your suitcase for easy carrying. The zipper seems to be in good quality as well. Purchased about a year ago and have taken the carryon on about 40 flights already I always check it and it’s held up really well. Rolls easily. I’ve used the larger bags each two or three times in the last year and they also have held up to normal TSA usage. Love the color (purple) bc my bag is so easy to spot upon loading into the plane and off the plane and at baggage claim. The duffel was the only piece to fall apart for me.
