Lo, and behold! A few years ago my parents gifted to me a pair of jeans that became my most favorite. The fabric was soft, the wash was dark, and it had a very comfortable mid-rise. But, after much fluctuation in weight, I began approaching a healthier number. Those jeans became quite loose. Plus, it was annoying having to find alternatives because surely one cannot wear the same pair of jeans constantly. These jeans were Jo’s Jeans, of The Rebel style. Imagine my horror when searches showed it was no longer actively manufactured. Indeed, Jo’s Jeans had ceased making the fit all together. Oh, the wailing and gnashing of teeth that ensued! The sorrow and despondency that resulted! Finally, I decided to find an alternative. Finding an alternative with Jo’s Jeans was turning out to be an expensive proposition. Perhaps, I thought to myself, I ought to try something more mainstream to determine what fit and cut would suit me. Choosing one pair from the manifold options seemed quite daunting. I resolved to purchase a pair from a well-known brand: Lucky Jeans. The prices were quite reasonable. I placed the order and they arrived forthwith. I chanced upon needing them a few days ago. I was apprehensive about wearing them but realized there was no reason to be worried. The fit was perfect; the cut was perfect; the size was perfect; the weight was perfect; the wash was perfect. Plus, not being relaxed fit actually flattered my physique. The jeans were most comfortable. Imagining getting a better pair of jeans is difficult to imagine. I really have been on the fence about buying these due to price. But the Amazon special price for a couple days had me wanting to try them. After I got them and tried I bought two more pairs because of how comfortable they are. I wouldn't pay 100 for these but I will say they are worth it!

Great fit, but the quality isn't as good as my old 221's purchased years ago from Costco. This denim has a slight stretch to it, but not too bad.
