  • Very durable flooring. Commercial Grade.
The media could not be loaded. Tough Commercial Quality. I like the color. It installed very well. I used VCT glue to glue it to my concrete floor. Washes well.

  • Looks good but wish it was less foofoo. Don't install over vinyl! Get Goo Gone. 3-1/2 stars
Size: Box of 16 Tiles Color: Woodmere Number of Items: 16
UPDATE (3.12.2022): 1) About 6 weeks ago, had 2 floors redone due to movement and goo oozing through seams after being installed over vinyl sheet flooring with Shaw 200 pressure adhesive. GlueCore is now applied over concrete slab throughout. Mannington Commercial thin-spread adhesive (M-Guard V-11?) is giving much better results than the Shaw 200. Six months after installation over concrete, still having some oozing in 1 room where Shaw 200 was used. 70% IPA seems to be working alright for removing these gooey-spots that seem to be showing up less frequently.) Have had no problems, thus far, with the 2 rooms installed with Mannington Commercial thin-spread. 2) If you'll be walking in sock-clad feet on this flooring continually, be prepared for holes in balls and heels of socks developing much more quickly than usual. Search "LVP to avoid (read if considering Coretec or CaliBambo) and a mystery". We're not the only ones to notice. Forewarned is forearmed. 3) Floors still looking good! =================== ORIGINAL REVIEW (10.24.2021) So, we’ve had this product installed for 2 months. The planks themselves seem to be a good product in look and feel. Ten times better than worn-down, cheap carpet any day of the week. The color looks better and more natural in person than it does in the ads, especially in natural lighting, although you’re supposed to protect it from the direct sun. (See best-looking photo, 1st pic if posted in right order.) Professional installer with 20+ years’ experience says there was no problem with the planks themselves, and the assistant was impressed with the straight edges. No damaged planks. Used Shaw 200 pressure-sensitive adhesive. Now, as far as the entire flooring system using Lucida GlueCore: Be prepared for some recurring oozing of adhesive that begins weeks after installation. So far, we’re experiencing this a couple times a week in the same 2 areas of one of the 3 rooms where LVP was glued directly to concrete; daily and in a growing number of places (at least 10 so far) in 2 rooms where LVP was glued to vinyl/resilient flooring. Just enough to make stepping in it and sliding a chair around it in very, very annoying. Goo Gone adhesive remover will be your friend. Seriously. So, everywhere this flooring was applied over vinyl/resilient flooring, it is ever so gradually sliding apart, leaving significant gaps at some seams, one up to ½” wide. Can’t feel it sliding when walking on it, but can eventually see the results. Installer followed the instructions provided (the vinyl subflooring fully glued down, not just at perimeters) both for the flooring and the adhesive. However, looks like the floors with LVP over vinyl/resilient flooring will have to be reinstalled, ripping out both the LVP and the sheet vinyl. What a waste of money and time! Woodmere color blends with wood putty (color: American Heritage) well. Be careful with that blue painters’ tape. It may leave white stripes on the flooring. Best to apply Goo Gone on the tape shortly beforehand and under the area where tape was as it’s slowly removed. Why foofoo? It is not as carefree as the old sheet vinyl you probably already have on your floor. It has been scratched by a chair which never scratched the presumably cheap resilient/sheet vinyl flooring that had been newly installed by previous owner. Dragging furniture and appliance across these LV planks is not recommended per instructions, even though wheelchairs and power scooters are fine. Can’t use ammonia or bleach as a cleaner. Unlike the sheet vinyl we had, all the furniture legs have to be felted. Must be careful about wheeled chairs and furniture. Can’t use rubber-backed rugs without a latex/rubber-free underpad, although rubber caster wheels are ok. The only damage that ever showed up on the old sheet vinyl was: 1) a slight dent and gouge made when a glass gallon of water fell onto it from countertop height and 2) yellowing high-traffic areas (from walking on asphalt pavement?), which is why we had it removed. We selected Lucida GlueCore after much research, wanting to get rid of carpet and needing a heavy-duty, waterproof, lower maintenance flooring that would tolerate high-impact exercises and wheelchair and Power Chair usage well. Maybe a very high-quality sheet vinyl with at least the same durability specs as Lucida GlueCore—admittedly difficult to find—would eliminate or make rare the potential for adhesive oozing and slippage, although it most likely wouldn’t look as nice and wouldn’t be as easy to repair. Lucida GlueCore LVP is our choice because the installer we wanted to use doesn’t install sheet vinyl, and the boss likes the look of planks vs. sheet. Seller, Lucida Flooring, is easy to contact and quite responsive to concerns and questions. Delivery service was seamless. ... show more

I am a first-time floor DIY-er who did this project for my parents. Having first bought some low-end home depot peel-and-stick that starting cracking at the corners before I even started the project, I decided to look for something of better quality. This floor is EXCELLENT. I loved that I could cut it with scissors. I decided to go with glue-down instead of peel-and stick just in case I needed to re-arrange anything. I ended up cutting and fitting all the pieces first. I laid them all down and numbered them with tape. I also prepared the floor to level it, which was the hardest part of the project. All in all, I am super satisfied. When we get to re-doing my parents' kitchen floor, I will use Lucida again. Might try the peel-and-stick. In any case, I highly recommend! Their customer service was also very good. I had to return a previous product because my parents changed their minds on the color and Lucida refunded me with no questions asked. YAY for successful DIY projects! ... show more

  • Huh What?

It would be nice if this supplier could show the real dimensions of the vinyl planks they offer. I know what I'm looking for, but their digital store front doesn't seem very user friendly. Will be covering over the chipped ceramic junk we currently have in the kitchen. Most likely, I'll find a half pallet close out at my local big box vendor. At least I can touch, feel and sample before tackling the chore. I don't expect to use much glue, since the current tile and platform is already straight and level. The girls at the local Big Box store insist we level the floor first. I'm like "Less is Better". My experience shows me I'll be hiring a Professional to install the tile. I'm too old, and not a floor guy. Says the Electrician. : ) ... show more
