  • Great study aid!
I have purchased many LSAT prep books (pretty much all the popular ones) and spent an upwards of probably $300 as a result. I wish I had found this guide earlier in my studies. Sure, all of the other materials I own have dissected and analyzed every section of the LSAT, so much that each individual book is heavy enough to be used for resistance training. But what they lack is concise discussion, a flaw that this book does not have. One strength, and this is a big deal, is that this is the only book that discusses the Writing Sample portion of the LSAT. I repeat: of the hundreds of dollars I’ve personally spent on LSAT study materials, this is the only book that not only discusses it, but also provides an effective strategy in tackling it. I know that most people don’t take that section seriously because law schools are focused more on the standardized portions of the exam (the writing sample isn’t “graded”), but best believe that they will read it and determine who gets the upper hand against those who did not take the writing sample as seriously as they should. The other books focus so much on material dedicated to contrapositives and ordering setups, but they do not dedicate a single sentence towards the writing sample. Anyone who is taking the exam for the first time or is a repeat test taker (like me) will benefit from this book. You can read it in less than a week (or a day if you’re really ambitious/pressed for time) and you’ll get enough info for the entire exam. Cheers to all of you future attorneys! ... show more

  • Really Easy to Understand
This textbook really breaks down the LSAT for people who struggle to understand all the LSAT components. It takes you step by step and explains every part in layman’s terms where it’s easy to comprehend and understand. I’ve take this test twice and plan to take it again but needed a prep book that really broke every part of the LSAT down in ways I could understand. This book has done that for me and I feel more confident going into the next test. ... show more

  • Great Resource!
Format: Paperback
The Mometrix LSAT Prep book was very helpful towards my learning of the exam material. It offered thorough, comprehensive explanations of all exam sections which included tips to use on exam day. However, the most helpful part of the book for me were the 5 full-length practice tests which included explanations for all of the questions. Would recommend to anyone studying for the LSAT! ... show more

  • Semi-helpful
Format: Paperback
This book gives a rundown of what sorts of questions will be on the LSAT and is very helpful if one has a limited knowledge of the LSAT in general. It gives an overall explanation of each selection and what categories of questions will be in each section. While this introduction is helpful, after the general introduction it loses its usefulness. There are very few helpful tips and techniques for taking the LSAT and most of the introductory information written in this book could be found in a youtube video. I would recommend Khan Academy's free LSAT prep over this book. ... show more

  • A good book to help with studying
Format: Paperback
This book was great for advancing my knowledge on some of the things that I had previously studied for. I believe it explains most things well enough that you could use it alone to study for the LSAT.

  • Very helpful
I have been reading along as I study for my LSAT and I find the information to be very helpful. The explanations are great! I also took a class and the format in the book is very similar.

  • Great Product Poor Delivery.
Format: Paperback
The product came in great condition. However USPS was horrible at delivering the item. I had to go to 2 different locations to track down the package that was never delivered. I hope that the seller no longer do business with USPS.
