Description

It’s hard to imagine just how good the LS2 Stream II full-face motorcycle helmet is. Style, features and performance that surpass helmets costing literally twice the price, this helmet is an out-of-the-park home run. It starts with an aerodynamic, sport styled shell made from LS2’s proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA). This high-tech material uses nanotechnology to blend microscopic aramid fibers with a high-end polymer. This blend allows for amazing energy managing performance with managed flexibility that absorbs energy without the ricochet effect of inferior materials. The Stream II meets the ECE 22.06 rotational energy management specifications using Advanced Rotational Energy Management Technology (AREM), another LS2 proprietary process. The rear spoiler allows for dynamic flow-through ventilation. The 3D laser cut foam in the cheek pads, removeable liner with special flex-crown comfort system is super comfortable and easy to keep fresh. 3 shells and 5 energy absorbing EPS liners make for a fit that is nothing short of amazing. The optically correct, Class A polycarbonate shield is Pinlock ready, for the ultimate in fog management (Pinlock sold separately). The overall finish and performance sets the Stream II at the forefront of full-face motorcycle helmets. Even those costing twice the price. Meets or exceeds ECE 22.06 and DOT FMVSS standards. This is my first helmet and so glad I purchased this beautiful helmet. The materials feel great, and durable, I ordered a medium and fits snug even with my glasses. The sun visor is easy to use and provides great coverage in the sun. The carry bag is also nice, comes with a sticker for your helpmet, I chose to stick to my bike. The vents provide pretty good ventilation, noise seems fine to me, and the screen didn't fog up much unless I was at a light but there is an add on available that clip to the shield to prevent fogging. Greeeeat helmet. I had a brake pad come off of a car in front of me on the highway. Helmet took it like a champ and saved my money maker! The company even helped with out with a warranty when the mouth piece broke off during that experience. If you live somewhere where the weather can cause condensation from your breath, look into getting a pin lock insert, with that installed the helmet has been made perfect for me. I enjoy the built in visor for when my sunglasses aren't completely cutting it, and my sunglasses fit comfortably while wearing the helmet which is a huge pro for me. The only con would be wind noise, but I sit high on my bike where the windscreen isn't blocking all of the air. I've also got long hair which breaks the seal around my neck, so at speed I notice the wind noise a lot more than just driving through the city. I mostly bought this due to the ECE 22.06 rating, weight, and most of my ridding is in the city. So for all that I feel it is a good helmet for the level of comfort and protection. There are the smallest black paint imperfections, yet honestly nobody will see them when I ride. Plus for the price is really is light weight and has some good noise reduction. I am one of those in-between medium and large sizes, I went with the medium size and it is breaking in to a good fit. I am used to D-Rings, yet the strap isn't hard at all to get use to. I really enjoy the minimal gloss white with a bit shimmer it has to it. Plus the LS2 logo is nothing too crazy. Vents are good and I ride without a chin curtain as most of my rides are around town. Still even without it I like the extra air flow. I wear glasses and they work just fine, even with the drop down sun visor. I do wish the sun visor would drop down a bit more, yet I would still rather just use my glasses. ... show more

I love this helmet so much. It feels good, fits well, has loads of great features (e.g., the drop-down visor), and is ECE 22.06 certified. I would definitely buy it again. Ventilation might be it's weakness, but I rarely think it's inadequate. I did invest in the Pinlock anti-fog insert and that works incredibly well (highly recommended). Oh, and it looks good...have gotten several compliments on it the past 8 months. ... show more

Had to return because it was too Small ….. I normally get a large and had a large Fox helmet sitting right there with 59-60 cm = Large so I got well large …. But it soooo tight I had to return and got a X large ….. it too was pretty snug but i know a break in period will adjust that …. So order a size bigger bc I have slender head and this was extremely tight on sides of head mostly !!!! ... show more

My first helmet and I love it. Great color and features and comfort. A little heavy but you get used to it. With a colored visor it looks great. Only thing is the logos are quite big but the quality of materials used is great for the price. 6 months later and it still feels and smells new
