Imagine a half-shell motorcycle helmet that offers flow- through, ported ventilation to keep you cool on the hottest of days. The short peak and Twin Shield System drop down sunscreen will protect your eyes when the sun is in the horizon. The sun shield itself has a unique, two-stage adjustability: lock it 1/2 way for just a little shade, or full open for total sun protection. It's called "Freedom of choice." Our dual-density EPS meets or exceeds DOT standards. Finish it off with a DOT approved micrometric, quick release chin-strap, and you have all the convenience and comfort of a traditional motorcycle half helmet, but with the technology of the future. Exceeded expectations! Was looking for a helmet for those South Florida hot days but also something that could fit in side bag and chopped trunk (see photos). I bought this helmet to replace a Scorpion EXO C110 which was a good helmet and one that I had purchased several times before. On a whim I decided to try a new model and manufacturer and I am so glad I did. This helmet fits perfectly- at least for my head shape- feels a bit lighter and offers a buckle fastener. With the Scorpion I would set the head strap and then squeeze my head into the helmet so I would not have to mess with the strap every time. The drop down visor system and removable liner are features shared by both helmets- I prefer the Scorpion visor-the LS2 has an edge on the bottom of the visor which is noticeable and somewhat distracting. Good comfortable helmet if you get your size right of course, best thing I like about it is my field of view since I went to a half helmet from a whole helmet it's much lighter and I can see around me a whole lot easier

    • No mushroom head !
The LS2 Rebellion is a good value, fits well, and is made pretty good. Not normally a half-helmet rider, but it's just too hot some days for a full-face helmet. I wanted one that doesn't sit too high on my head making me look like I got a mushroom head, and the LS2 does that- it sits low and has a bit of a neck roll in the rear to stabilize the fit. The quick buckle chin strap takes a bit to get used to but I now like it. The helmet also has a flip-down visor, but I don't use it so I can't comment on its performance. I think it runs a little big. Every helmet I’ve had over 30 years has been an XL by had to get this in a L. That’s one of only 2 things that were an issue. The other is, if you wear a gaiter with ear loops like I do (I have a long beard and need the gaiter to keep the beard down and the ear loops are the most comfortable for me) it’s a bit of a pain to get the loops on after the helmet is on. Why put the gaiter on after? Your beard looks much better as the chin buckle isn’t clamping it down. Now about the helmet. I love this helmet. Quite comfortable stays in place at highway speeds and then some. Chin strap placement is comfortable, I read some reviews that people didn’t like it, no problem at all for me. The sun visor is a bit tight if you have glasses like me. I can get away with pushing my glasses up and then deploying the visor. The venting is noticeable and a nice touch. The padding is good but you don’t look like the mushroom guys from Mario Cart. For $150 you won’t find a better helmet. ... show more

Sadly has a bad visor attachment. A little tab broke off so now the visor is useless—one of the main reasons I bought the helmet. Don't buy this expecting it to last. No parts available either!

This is a very nice looking and very comfortable helmet. I installed my Seña communications system with very little effort. Only problem was the manufacturer cut one of the speaker pouches on the bottom instead of the top.
