I decided to try the LS2 helmet line after hearing a couple reviews that said they were really good for the money, and I landed on getting the Strobe because it is made for intermediate oval shaped heads, and it has a removeable liner with ready made pockets for speakers for a intercom/headset. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was right out of the box, and it had an almost non-existent break-in period. I was also surprised to see it came with a Pinlock ready visor, which if it was mentioned in the description of the helmet I didn't notice, and that struck me as a real nice value-added feature for such a low cost helmet. The flip down sunscreen is easy to manipulate and does a good job of cutting down sun glare will I am riding. Wind noise is as about as quiet as you can get without going to a full face helmet. The fact that it is ECE rated instead of just DOT is also really nice. The only thing I would like to see as an improvement (more like an option, really) would be more choices in color. I would have really liked a red one. All in all, it is a great value for the cost, and a solid choice for a helmet. ... show more

Ordered a 2XL still a little tight but is manageable hopefully loosens a bit with wear. Nicely made and is my first modular helmet. I recommend if you typically wear a half shell order 2 sizes up.

After going to 2 separate Harley Davidsons and them not having the size or not having the helmet at all I thought bingo Amazon! I saved over $100 dollars by buying it here. My husband loves the modular fit, he loves that there’s a slide on the side to lower a eye screen. Loves that there is no stickers on the helmet. He’s claustrophobic and this helmet does not bother him. Great quality helmet. However I did have to order him up one size from his regular helmet size ... show more

I ride a Harley and have a couple of half helmets I throw on with ease. I went looking for a more substantial helmet for those longer colder winter or late night rides. I wanted a modular design where the face lifts up and away when desired. I found this helmet and could not be more pleased. I am very impressed with the look, design, and function. I even more impressed with the price. Sizing runs a little on the snug side so if you are a solid medium then you should order a large. The clear face shield comes pinlock ready so I also purchased the pinlock fog resistant insert lens. Easy install and a must have to prevent the shield from fogging up which is so common with full face helmets. Not a problem at speed but when it's cold and you are stuck in traffic....we all know the fogging is inevitable. The pinlock lens is the cure. Now I know you can just lift the full frontal face to the up position...but when it's cold and biting I just as soon prefer it down. The internal flip down sun shade is quickly and easily deployed while riding and so convenient. The ratchet style strap buckle is also a step up from the old hook and look D-ring style. Simple and fast. This is also one of the best looking helmets I have seen on the road. Solid five stars ...i'd give it more if I could...LS2 STROBE MODULAR ROCKS!! ... show more

I've had this roughly 3 months now, and plenty of time using it. I'm happy enough for now Pros The modular part of the helmet is flawless. Not a ton of wind noise for the money Speaking of, fantastic value. Especially used Cons This is a heavy helmet. I don't mind myself. But be prepared for longer rides The sizing. I don't know what others are thinking. I'm typically a xl helmet size. But i went xxl just in case. It's still a wee bit too small. So id buy two sizes larger. So I ended up cutting and melting some of the strafoam inside so it'd fit and you could put a headset in. So now it's not too bad! Still a wee bit too snug. I bought used for 50$. and wasn't about to spend 10$ in return shipping to then buy a xxxl for 150$. I figured until something major fails, I'll keep it. Just buy the 50$ 'pinlock like' insert. Doesn't matter if you run it summer or cold. Just buy it. It's practically unusable if you close the two vents because it fogs so fast. Now with them open, it's okay. Now you see all the cons and probably think, nah. But really it's not a bad helmet. Id make sure you can return it, as it's more Chinese sizing. ... show more

This is one of the finest helmets I've ever worn. I have a xxx large (26cm), long-oval head, and this helmet fits perfectly. I've ridden my whole life, owned many helmets, and I didn't know what a proper fitted helmet was supposed to feel like until now. The features are all top notch, it has extremely low wind noise, easy to operate (one handed) face lift, and it looks great. It does run a tad small compared to the AFX magnus, my previous helmet. That said, the magnus could've been oversized. Finding helmets that are xxxl or larger is difficult, especially if you have a long-oval head like me. The best I had before this was the AFX Magnus, a decent helmet with no frills. I replaced it with this. The fit (compared to the magnus) is tighter, it is a longer oval, has much less wind noise, same field of vision right to left, slightly less vision up and down, but only with the face down. Overall, I've never seen a better helmet for the money. Actually, I've never owned a better helmet period. This is a superb product with a perfect fit. I have a 26cm, long oval head, and the xxxl was ideal. I LOVE THIS HELMET! ... show more
