You have to remove the cheekpads and put them back in. Worst cheekpad retention system Ive seen in 20 or so helmets. It doesn't snap in. It has this spine that slides in between the EV liner and the outer shell. No force in the universe will help you get that thing back in there and stay. Fine fit and finish. Very snug. Pretty quiet too. Vents are just ok. Visor and drop down sunglasses are good. Ratchet strap is quick, easy and comfortable in my opinion. I pity you when you have to take the cheek pad loose to hide comm wires or wash them. ... show more

Overall it is a great helmet. It’s light, comfortable, and doesn’t run too hot. I’m only marking it down due to its noise level. It is fairly noisy at highway speeds. Other than that, stellar helmet, especially for the money!

The helmet is well made, comes in a few nice color combinations to choose from. Has a pinlock ready clear face shield, pinlock insert, and tinted drop-down sun visor controlled by a slider on the bottom left side of the helmet. The outer shell is robust and looks to be well built with premium materials to reduce road and wind noise. The inner lining is really soft and well made. The negative is the fact that the chin strap is not a conventional double D ring, but a quick release ratcheting strap. The chin strap are placed to far back to the point where when latched it pushes on your throat and rubs on your Adam's apple which is very uncomfortable. Had to return it because of that factor.
