Helmet is great, fits my head perfectly (and I was upgrading from an LS2 Assault). The forged carbon was what I ended up settling on, and it looks great in the sunlight, and ventilation is significantly better than my old Assault (it's an assault 1 though, the Assault 3 seems to have borrowed the ventilation from this helmet design). Cooling is significant, especially at speed, and I've already closed up the chin and top vent a couple of times *during the summer* becuase it got too cool. The aerodynamics are considerably better than the Assault. At Highway speeds the massive spoiler on this helmet keeps my head remarkably stable and minimizes buffeting. I can also turn my head about 50° to the left or right to do shoulder checks without the wind trying to shake my head. It was a tad tight on the top of my ears for the first couple of rides, but the pads did eventually wear in and that isn't an issue now. It may still be uncomfortable if I end up taking a hit in the helmet, but if that happens, I probably have bigger problems than my ears... Flip down sun visor is fine, works the same as my old Assault, the clear visor has 4 positions, so I can open it just a little bit for added ventilation, and the angle of attack still makes air flow over my head, not completely flood the helmet at high speed. Helmet is awesome, however I ended up buying it in a physical shop. Buying on Amazon and dealing with the idiots who sell on this platform was a horrid experience. First attempt to buy it was cancelled by the seller, second attempt was from a Harley Dealership in Wisconsin. They clearly pulled a shelf helmet and stuffed it back into the box, and shipped it with absolutely no padding on 4/6 of the sides of the box. Not sure if everyone knows this, but helmets can't be bumped and dropped repeatedly, because the foam is designed to fail in order to save your life. Shoving this helmet into an unpadded box and shipping it across the country via FedUp (a company I worked for, so I've seen what happens to some packages just as the normal part of shipping, not to mention when you have an angry driver tossing stuff around), and then expecting me to put it on my head is insulting to me as a customer. And this was a Harley dealership, they 1,000,000% should have known better. TL/DR: Sellers on Amazon are 2 for 2 sucking, buy this helmet in a physical store if you can. It's well worth it to get one that you know hasn't been dropkicked out of a delivery truck without any padding. ... show more

Wind noise is pretty good and love the look of the carbon in person as well a tinted visor comes included and is very easy to swap. Bonus also includes a pin lock. Would buy again.
