Based on what I’ve seen, out of the box, I am extremely satisfied with this helmet. I have an LS2 Bagger and liked it well enough that I wasn’t hesitant to purchase the Copter. I’ll tell you what I know without riding with it. It is extremely comfortable. The padding is adequate and the quick release chin strap is a great feature. The full face shield is thick and offers a proper degree of vision. A lot of helmets make me feel as if my peripheral vision is blocked. This one doesn’t. The flip down sun shield is the first one I’ve had that doesn’t hit my glasses when deployed. I really like that as I haven’t been able to use that feature on other helmets. I see a lot of LS2 helmets being used by other riders and have seen several models in retail stores. The quality far exceeds the price point, in my opinion. As with anything, with moving parts, only time will determine how durable it will be but I don’t anticipate any issues. I generally wear a medium but due to the size chart and the fact that I would be installing a Bluetooth system , I went with the large. It fit nicely with the speaker pods installed. An added bonus is the helmet being manufactured with Bluetooth in mind. There are circular recesses in the ear cutouts and the wires can easily be routed inside the lining. I cannot overstate how nice this helmet is. The first time I ordered a Large and it was a little too loose for my liking. I ordered this medium and it fit perfectly. The screen is truly clear, no distortion. It closes tightly and cuts out noise a lot better than expected for a 3/4 helmet. The sun screen seems polarized but even if it isn’t, it does a decent job blocking out a bright setting sun. The fit is just a little bit snug. I don’t see having any break in time issues. I ride a Challenger with the power plus front speakers. With the visor up I hear all the music, but with the visor down it cuts out a lot of the higher frequencies, but I can still hear it. If music quality it paramount perhaps a Cardo or Sena will help. I got the white helmet and the shell is scuff free. The paint looks high quality. If it sound like I’m gushing forgive me. Ordering a helmet thru Amazon can be a dicey endeavor. I feel like I hit the jackpot here. ... show more

I was looking for a helmet for city/suburban (<= 40mph), and feature-wise somewhere between my half-helmet and my full-face modular. This one checked a lot of my boxes Pros: + Fits my intermediate-oval (8.13"L x 5.65"W), 22.75" circumference melon very nicely; cheeks are snug but not too tight; + Excellent ventilation (I live in Texas); + Drop-down sun shade eliminates the need for me to switch between glasses/sunglasses/tinted goggles; + Flip-up shield eliminates the need for my goggles (I have no tolerance for wind in my eyes); + Quick-release, PADDED chin strap; + Removeable lining. Cons: - The heat and UV warnings attached to the helmet make me somewhat concerned about the durability of the shell and especially of the EPS. Only time will tell. - I wish the sun shade would come down about a half-inch further, or it did NOT have the nose cut-out. I can live with it, though. - A little bulbous ("mushroom") looking but not excessively so. I expected this in a drop-down inner shield helmet. - I suspect it may be noisy, but I don't care because I always wear ear plugs. ... show more

Seems like a good helmet, I like the quick connect strap. I like the outer clear shield, but if you wear glasses the tinted shield will hit your glasses. The only reason for 3 stars is I never got a chance to use it on a ride, since its too small. I wear glasses and with the helmet on, I cant put my glasses on. Will return the XL helmet I ordered, and try an XXL. ... show more
