Description

The LS2 Challenger GT Carbon Helmet takes the high-performance sport-touring helmet and adds a 100% carbon fiber shell for decreased weight. LS2's engineers and designers worked closely with their MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 riders to develop a helmet is comfortable for the long haul and high speeds. The helmet has a retractable internal sun visor as well as a 3D optically- correct, Pinlock-ready shield with tear-off posts. Featuring a new fiberglass composite shell and massive amounts of ventilation, the Challenger GT is sure to please chin on the tank watching the world wiz by or upright taking in all the views. DOT approved. Meets the FMVSS 218 Standard

I’m has 2 Arai helmet Rx7 . 1 shoei full up. But when I got this helmet LS2 with American flag. Nice helmet. Nice bags , cheap price than Arai and Shoei. But really Love it. Everyone said nice and light weights. Love it. Love it. Thanks again seller and who’s desire for this helmet.

I've worn this helmet for several months now and am still very happy with it. It fits my oval head great. The Pinlock system is awesome and great that it comes with it instead of having to make an additional purchase. I easily added a Cardo Freecom 4X as the helmet made it easy to route the wires between the padding and the hard foam shell. ... show more

Comfortable,well fitting helmet. Was noisy on left side were lever for sun shade control is. Filled in that slot,now a lot quieter. Very light helmet

    • I like it, but it's got some quirks
First, unboxing this helmet was a treat. It comes with a lot of extras; pin lock insert, two bags and an inflatable neck support. The presentation was really nice, if that matters to you. The fit and finish is nice, all the moving parts operate smoothly with no issues and the carbon fiber is beautiful and pops visually. It's also really comfortable and flows a lot of air. Peripheral vision is also great. Three things that are not great, though. One, the sizing is a bit off. I normally wear a 2XL but had to go to a 3XL for this one. Two, if the clear visor is opened all the way, it starts whistling at about 25mph and just gets louder as speed increases. It gets unbearable at 50 mph and I have to close it almost completely. Finally, I installed a Cardo Packtalk system and out of the dozen or so I've installed, this was, by far, the most challenging due to the drop down sunshade lever and the plastic lip around the opening of the shell. Other than that, I really like the helmet and plan to put a bunch of miles on it. ... show more

There was a mix up when I ordered my medium helmet however this worked to my benefit. I ordered a carbon but received the wrong one. I did try it on but it was tight so customer service not only sent the right product but a size up as well. Perfect fit....large is what I went with. It will only get better as I continue to wear it. Only thing I will change is the DD chin strap to a fidlock matte finish.. But that’s just personal preference but not an issue with the LS2 Challenger GT full face carbon Large helmet. DOT and ECE 22.05 certified. No Bluetooth hook up yet. No test ride with it on yet. I’m waiting on my LS2 Challenger Visor chrome silver pinlock ready. Which by the way, the helmet comes with anti fog insert. ... show more

Bought this helmet in a 3xl on a different site but reviewing here as well. It's a very light helmet and has a fantastic field of view. It is quite comfortable in my opinion, and it is one of the few non arai long oval helmets. A freecom 4x works well with the helmet with the adhesive mount. I couldn't get the friction mount to work. Ventilation is pretty decent, not the best I've ever used but really good. The sun visor is actually really nice. The best features of this helmet are about safety though. The lock to keep the visor down saved my face when someone brake checked me. I slid somewhere in the range of 40 yards on the pavement and the visor remained in place even though it looked like it got mauled by a bear. In addition the cheek pads could be removed by EMS easily because of the little handles on the bottom. I had no head injury at all. Would highly recommend this helmet if you have a long oval head and want fantastic protection for a decent price. ... show more
