This is a good overall helmet. I wanted something lighter. With my full-faced helmet being old and the visor bracket breaking, having a smaller helmet feels nice. I will say that it is tight to the forehead and back of my head, while a tad looser on the sides. However, I'm a bit egg shaped, so many helms do that to me. At least on my noggin, it still "mushrooms" my head, so a lower profile one might be desired down the road. All in all, as I have a great windshield on my Vulcan Voyager and enjoy having exposure to the better elements of weather, I look forward to many rides with this. Might even pick up a second for a passenger/backpack, if I ever have one. ... show more

    • Almost what I wanted in a half bucket!

This helmet actually was a pretty good fit, but I can't say it was a perfect fit. My only two complaints are these: 1. It does crunch the ears a little, but I don't have a problem with it. Maybe modifying the removable liner to provide ear relief would do the trick, but I haven't done so yet. 2. The chin strap seems to be positioned so that it cuts into my neck. It isn't much, but I would like it angled toward the point of my chin more for comfort. This cap fits well and fairly comfortably and holds true to the recommended sizing (charts available at the LS2 website). Even with the chin strap issue, the helmet cinches tightly and does not blow off of my head when I look over the windscreen. The irony of finding this helmet is that I searched all over the greater area for a half helmet without finding one that fit nicely. This one fit right out of the box, and fits nicely with the zip-on neck curtain installed too! Only one more thing I'd like to see is a pair of ear covers for when the neck curtain is off of the lid. Heavy crosswinds are a little hard on the ears! Even with the problems I've notice, I'm very pleased with this bucket and it looks good! I will be looking toward LS2 helmets in the future. When I say good value helmet I know there are much more expensive brands available but for the money this helmet is fine. It fits well and is much lighter than my 3/4 helmets. I watched a couple critical Youtube videos that knocked this helmet. I'm old and have been riding for over 55 years. This is a fine helmet and a great value. Fits true to size. ... show more

Wanted a DOT helmet that didn't have me looking like a mushroom, this was a perfect fit. It's lightweight, comfortable, and doesn't feel like it wants to fly off at high speeds like some other helmets I've worn in the past. Would definitely buy another in the future

Bought to replace my old half helmet. It looks nice and seems to be good quality (for the price), but mine is too big. It sits too low, pushing the top of my ears down and too loose around my head. I ended up putting padding strips all over the inside of the shell to lift it up and make it tighter around my head. I've owned dozens of motorcycle helmets (half, quarter, full face), of several brands and qualities, and all have been size small. My head measures 55.5 cm and I wear size 6 7/8 hats, which by the size chart should be size S, which is what I bought and received. ... show more

I do Love the Helmet - there are Pros and Cons, The Pros in my opinion out-weigh the Cons. Cons - Runs Small - I read this on another review and decided to follow it and order a Medium rather than a Small - which I usually where. The medium fits as a small would - so be aware and buy accordingly. Well That's the only real con. Pros 1. Remarkably Light for the amount of padding in the helmet 2. Remarkably slim again for the amount of padding in the helmet 3. Only SLIGHTLY higher than my other helmet - but very very far from Mushroom Head you might hear people refer to. 4. Accepted my SENA Bluetooth 20s with ease and perfection. The speakers fit perfectly in the zip out pockets provided with the helmet. 5. While I don't plan on using the Visor it is nice to have 6. The inside of the helmet is quite comfortable 7. One of the greatest feature which I was glad this had (and why I tried it) is the ratcheting strap (my current helmet has it too) it is quick on and quick off. I personally do not like the D-Rings - the is the most amazing alternative. 8. DOT certified Well that's it - Enjoy yours - I will mine Keep the Wheels to the Ground and the Sun to your Shoulders. ... show more
