I was attracted to this silver dress because I thought it would look great with my silver jacket. Generally when I order a dress from Amazon, I order a size Medium which fits. My protocol is to review all posted reviews in general and by weight/height prior to placing an order. I am 5’ 8.5” and weigh 155 lbs. When I received the size Medium dress, I could not believe it was so small. Given the dress stretches, there was no way the dress would stretch enough to cover my body. I returned it and ordered a size XL which is the fit and length are perfect. I had no problem zipping up the dress. The dress stretched to my shape and fit like a glove. By the way, the dress does look like the online picture displayed. The material is very thin but not see-through. Since I have not worn the dress, I cannot say if it will hold up after washing. I assume if it is washed in a lingerie bag with cold water and hung up to dry, the dress will hold up. I cannot wait for the occasion to wear this dress. I would like the gold color also. I highly recommend this dress to anyone who likes bodycon style dresses. ... show more

I usually wear a size large I ordered a size Large but it was a little too tight I am 5’3 188 lbs naturally curvy but my arms are big so I changed for a XL I got compliments
