  • Bang for the buck, quality, sound, as good as brands like meinl and zildjian
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Silver
The media could not be loaded. I've played with a lot of cymbals. Some have cost me thousands of dollars, but I have to say that these Mute Quiet Symbols are some of the best I've ever used. First of all, they are incredibly quiet. I can play them in my home without disturbing my neighbors, which is a huge plus. But even though they are quiet, they still sound great. They have a nice, clear tone that is perfect for practice or recording. I'm also impressed with how well they play. They feel very responsive and natural under the sticks. I've actually found that I prefer them to some of my more expensive cymbals. Overall, I am extremely happy with the mosico Mute Quiet Symbols. They are a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend them to any drummer. Here are some of the key features that I love about these cymbals: * They are incredibly quiet. * They sound great. * They play well. * They are a great value for the price. If you are looking for a set of quiet cymbals that sound great and play well, then I highly recommend these Mute Quiet Symbols. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Best value in cymbals period.
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Silver
I have been playing drums for almost 25 years. 20 of those years I have owned and played mainly high end zildjian and paiste cymbals. I set up my drums after moving and needed a quiet way to practice whenever I want so I got these because I have played the zildjian l80s in person and wasn’t impressed for how much they cost. For what these cost, they are an incredible value. The hats are acceptable, and could double for individual small crashes if you got another set. The ride and the crashes both sound fantastic. The ride has good definition, but also has a good amount of wash to it if driven hard. The crashes have great dimension and shimmer and sound like alloy cymbals it’s crazy. They probably are a little louder than the big name low volume cymbals. But to have a complete set of cymbals for less than the cost of one of the name brand? It’s a no brainer. It’s for practice anyway and these are definitely quiet enough. You can bang on them without hearing protection no problem. I got the regular silver pack. They look great and sound great. Even if these weren’t meant for practice they sound great and could be used for recording or for triggered kits. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Quiet-ish, a bit clingy, but feel okay to play
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Blue
The sound of these is 2-3 stars - they're quieter than regular cymbals, but not actually quiet. I'm getting about 80dB playing them, but the sounds feels pretty intrusive. A gel on each has helped some, but more dampening doesn't make them quieter. Good for practice, but they're just targets. They're thicker than I thought, but they're metal and they feel like playing cymbals (unlike my e-kit). They get an extra star for being cheap. ... show more

  • Great beginner set
Size: 10"14"16"18"20" Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. These were a wonderful upgrade to my Simmons E kit. But they are pretty loud, might not be ideal if you live in an apartment. I am sure there are others that probably sound better, but these are pretty good for the value. They have decent enough sound. These are a great beginner set. Will include a video so you can see how it sounds to help you decide. I would definitely recommend these. ... show more

  • Super value!
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Gold + Cymbal Bag
I've owned five (yes, 5!!) other types of low volume cymbals: Zildjian L80's, Gen16's (the original & the BB), Sabian, and Agean. For the price, this set of Arborea are fabulous! Great sound quality and well made. Word of caution: these are thin; they're the thinnest LV cymbals I've played. If you're a heavy hitter, I'd say 'beware'. I'm not heavy-handed - I used these on a low volume acoustic gig in a listening room and they're perfect. ... show more

  • Excellent muted cymbals
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Rainbow
I’ve been playing drums for 55+ years and have purchased many high end cymbals. When I received these cymbals I was shocked at how good they sound. They have a very clear sound The high hats have a quick decay with a clear chick sound on closing. The crashes sound great and the ride has a very clean sound but no real bell sound, other than that this is a great set. The volume of these cymbals are significantly reduced from that of a standard made cymbal. ... show more

  • Not as quiet as expected
Size: 14"16"18"20" Color: Gold + Cymbal Bag
The media could not be loaded. They aren’t terrible, but not great. Definitely lower volume than regular cymbals but not near as quiet as Zildjian L80’s. If you’re looking for lower volume on a budget as a beginner, this may be for you. The sounds left something to be desired as well. Out of the set, my personal fav was the 18” crash/ride sound. Currently, I don’t see it for individual sale unfortunately. Wasn’t a huge fan of the sounds of the rest. Hi hats were a bit tinny especially played side by side the L80. The bag it came with was nice! Overall, not bad for the price point but I’m sticking with the L80s since my primary goal is quiet playing for practice. Also the 20” ride arrived slightly bent 😬 I don’t normally complain about packaging but it was in an overly large box with no padding or stuffing to keep it from moving around in there. ... show more

  • Great sound
Size: 10"14"16"18"20" Color: Black
I was very hesitant purchasing these cymbals, but they sound great. I only play in the house now but my Zildjians, sound great but too loud to play in the house. I would highly recommend these Mosico mute cymbals for in house or any place regular cymbals are too loud.
