The skin on my nose bridge is rather sensitive, so much so that wearing heavier glasses all day will leave deep red indentations on my nose bridge that can become quite painful. So I always gravitate toward glasses that (1) are frameless or have a minimal frame, (2) are made of lighter plastics or nylon vs. metal, and (3) have adjustable nose pads vs. just letting the frame lie directly on my nose bridge. These glasses tick most of my boxes except for the metal frames, but the frames are very thin. So I thought I’d give them a try. Overall, these are quality reading glasses, especially for the price point. I really like how well they grip my head: these will not fall off when tipping my head down or bending over (as so many others of mine do). They feel very sturdy, and the temple hinges move fluidly. However, they are heavier than my go-to brand because of two features. First, the lenses are much thicker. Not only does this add weight, the wider edges can be distracting in your peripheral view, especially in very bright light. Second, as noted, the frames are metal. On my go-to brand, there is no frame. But the bridge and temples that hold the frameless lenses together are nylon. I weighed both brands: mine weighs 11 grams; this brand weighs 20 grams (82% heavier). See the two photos of each pair of glasses on the scale. Note the differences in weight and thickness of the lenses. But 20 grams is by no means “heavy.” So I still put this brand to the test and wore one all day. There were a few times I had to lift the glasses off the bridge of my nose to relieve pressure on my skin. And there was noticeable immediate relief. But these glasses never left red indentations on my nose bridge, even after wearing them all day. So they’re just under the weight limit that would be too heavy for me to wear comfortably. I also did notice the thicker frames in my peripheral view on a few occasions – but this wasn’t too distracting. Bottom line, these are nice glasses at a good price. If you have a sensitive nose bridge like me, note that these are heavier than the very featherweight nylon, frameless glasses that I prefer. But at only 20 grams, these glasses are still quite light and didn’t aggravate the skin on my nose bridge. See a few additional photos of these reading glasses for a better look.

The lenses are quite small but they line up with my eyes ok, they are light and comfortable to wear. Each pair has a separate case so you can place then in different locations, the case is also very visible. The actual lenses seem ok but they are just a simple magnifier so i do not foresee any issues. If you are not sure what magnification you need you can use your local chemist/pharmacy to take the very simple visual self-test that will tell you what you need.

I've never worn glasses in my life, but it seems everything is printed smaller these days. I've been using a magnifier lamp to read all the small print. I've noticed that I have to hold things further away from me to read them without it. I believe I have failed another test of "am I getting old?" I've always had perfect eyesight, so I didn't know what magnification I needed. The magnifier light is 5x and a pair of jeweler's glasses I have are 3x... so I decided to give 2x a try. I hate that I need these, but I do. For reading things nearby everything is crystal clear, when I take them off... blurry. I only use them for reading something less than arms length away. It's good there are 4 sets of these as I'm sure to lose them like everything else. I do wish there was a variety pack so i could try 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 2.5x to see which works best for me.

I received these LOVIVY 4 Pack Reading Glasses to evaluate and review. They arrived in excellent condition and were delivered by the promised date. I am super happy with these reading glasses. They are very comfortable, thanks to the spring hinges for the earpieces, and the soft, adjustable nose pads. I have several pairs of reading glasses, but they are either magnifiers, or blue blockers, but not both, so finding these glasses which have both features was a very satisfying acquisition. It is also very nice that they come with a padded fabric case for each set of glasses. The quality of workmanship seems to be very good, and I anticipate having these around for a long time. For this price it makes it great to be able to have a pair of glasses in the computer room and another in the kitchen and one pair in the living room...leaving an extra pair to share with your significant other. I really like these glasses and I give them five stars! Definitely recommend!

I just received my LOVIVY 4 Pack Reading Glasses. They are very comfortable. There is no distortion. That’s very important, obviously. They are very lightweight. I like that they are truly a half frame. I need glasses to read but not to see in the middle range or far away so it’s very annoying for me when I get reading glasses and they cover half my face. These are perfect! I love that they have Blue Light Blocking! I’m either on my iPad or my phone for hours every day. Blocking out the blue light is a big benefit for me as it stops eye strain and the occasional headache. They come with a nice case that is very well padded. These are not the most expensive glasses in case that you’ll ever get but if you’re just looking for a nice pair of reading glasses to keep in different parts of your house, these are the ones you’ll want to get. An excellent value.

Like many others, I sit my desk and look at a monitor for 8+ hours everyday. These readers work just as well as the ones I buy at the big box club store. They are lighter than others I have tried. The included case for each pair is nice to protect them.
