I was partial to hard sided plastic luggage which has been popular recently and it has had its moment. This is hard sided as well but is not plastic and gives off a decidedly luxe feeling. The design is excellent and the build quality equally so. My test for this type of luggage includes a close look at the spinner wheels and the trolley handle (the thing that pulls up so you can wheel this around.) If either of those features are questionable in my mind, I do not want to take the luggage on a trip. Bad wheels make travel hell and a loose or ergonomically poor handle is incredibly frustrating. This gets A+ marks for both. The wheels are free spinning and securely attached and the handle is suitably tall and secure when extended. Many carry on type bags now include a trolley sleeve which allows you to place your second bag on top of this one quite securely--and the long extendable handle makes that easier. The piece comes with some accessories including a shoe bag and a toiletry bag. They are decent but they are throw ins--nice to have but whatever. The design of this is really nice and without gimmicks--the pockets are well organized and easily accessible. The zipper works well and can be secured closed with the usual zipper lock device (which is good quality and worked well.) I never saw the point of 'locking' this type of bag which anyone (not just a thief) can open with a butter knife--but I guess some folks feel they want to anyway. This color combo may seem a little feminine but the seller offers others combos to suit. I found this one to be fairly unisex--the pink color is not shocking pink and the vibe is subdued. The interior is nicely fitted out as well and has as much usable space as you can get in a smaller piece of luggage.

This is a very nice carry-on luggage set. I love the light gray with the pink trim; it’s different from the typical black or box-like plastic cases you see all over the airport. The cosmetic bag is big enough to hold my travel necessities and my makeup. The mesh bag works great for keeping things like undergarments and socks together, just in case you get checked by TSA. The shoe bag works great for my sneakers. The part I like the most is that it has a pocket for my laptop. This means I can stow my laptop in the suitcase, and my backpack won’t be as heavy. The pocket has plenty of padding to protect my laptop. The spinner wheels work great; they roll nice and smooth and aren’t the really cheap plastic ones that seize up. The handle extends easily and locks in place for easy use. I have gone through lots of luggage over the years because of work travel and learned the hard way not to get cheap suitcases because they fall apart. This carry-on is very well made. All the zippers are good quality and open and close with ease. The fabric they use is amazing. It wipes clean and is very durable. I made the mistake of leaving it on my bed when I first opened it, and my wonderful little kitten thought she should sharpen her claws. I was impressed by how good the material is because there are no signs of little claw marks anywhere. I would highly recommend this bag.
