This swaddle is soft, high quality, and works as advertised. I bought it when my baby was around 6 weeks (12.5 pounds, I ordered a medium). He kept escaping the arms-down swaddles (even the Velcro ones!) and waking himself with the startle reflex. This swaddle works for allowing him to move his hands by his face but not wake himself. Having the arms up makes it easier to pick him up and nurse in the night compared to arms down swaddling. The double zipper is perfect for diaper changes at night, I suggest putting baby in pjs that snap at the bottom or have a double zipper so you don’t have to fully unzip to change. Material is stretchy, soft, and thick enough to add a layer of warmth without overheating. The materials and construction are high quality. There is no magical baby sleep solution out there, but this swaddle made a noticeable difference for us in getting better sleep, and I recommend it if you have the same issues I did. I loved it so much I bought two!

At the time of writing this, I have a 4 week old and we’ve tried many types of swaddles since she’s been born. I noticed when I did not swaddle her to sleep for naps, she comfortably and naturally put her arms up next to her head and slept well, but she would startle constantly and would wake herself up after sometimes just 10 or 20 minutes. I’d seen these Love to Dream swaddles before, and decided to give it a try as it’s also just got a zipper and no complicated wrapping or noisy Velcro (I’m looking at you Halo!). The first time I put her in it for a nap she slept almost 5 hours! It’s helped her sleep for 3-4 hour stretches at night now and she seems instantly relaxed when I put her in it, and if she’s still fussy, it’s easy to soothe her in the swaddle in my arms. The cotton material is suuuuuper soft and stretchy and seems to keep her cooler than the other cotton swaddles I’d used (Swaddle Me and Halo just have so much fabric she would wake up clammy in just a short sleeve onesie underneath). She’d break out of traditional swaddles. I highly recommend this for ease of use as well. It’s so easy to nurse her, let her drift to sleep and then zip her up in the Love to Dream swaddle. I’ll definitely be getting the transitional ones when she’s older. If you’re curious about trying this for your little one, I would not hesitate to get it.

I have tried the traditional swaddles and the Ollie swaddle but my baby girl hates them. She grunts all night trying to get out of them. Since switching to this swaddle she grunts way less and sleeps way longer! I was nervous because she is a preemie but the swaddle fits perfectly! Since my daughter is a preemie and has trouble with regulating her body temperature I do make sure she has footie pajamas since the swaddle itself is not thick. The material is so light weight, breathable, and soft and the quality of the material is definitely worth the money. I love that it has a double zipper which makes changing diapers in the middle of the night a breeze! Just zip up to keep arms in or zip down to get arms out but keep feet in (I do this when feeding). Will definitely be purchasing the next size when she gets bigger!

I love these things! They work so much better than a swaddle blanket or one of those Velcro sleep sacks. I’ve used this brand with two of my children and they make nighttime so much easier. In fact, this was the first thing I purchased for our newest addition because I loved it so much with my last child. The zipper operates in both directions, so diaper changes are a breeze. Baby can still move their arms a little but they are in a comfortable position and movement is minimized. The startle reflex doesn’t bother baby in this. You don’t have to worry that a blanket is coming to come loose, that their little arms are going to wiggle out, or they are straining to move. It washes nicely and feels soft to the touch. Overall I highly recommend this. Your baby, and you, will get more sleep.
