This pillowcase is definitely real silk and holds up great so far. I've had mine for atleast a year and hand wash it weekly with silk friendly detergent. Color Bleeds- Careful when washing because the color bleeds really bad, even in cold water! The water still turns faintly blue a year later. So definitely wash alone or with similar colors. The teal blue color isn't really teal, its more sapphire blue but still pretty. It also wrinkles easily, so make sure you lay flat to dry.

Maybe it's just me but I have ended up using the body pillow as a regular pillow and kind of wrapping it against my back. I noticed it looked like it was getting snagged. I couldn't figure it out until I mentioned it to my daughter. She suggested it could be my earrings. I wear stud earrings and never gave any thought to that happening. The snags do not distract from the comfort, just the looks.

We had to find good pillowcases for my son to help with frizz and breakage because of his hair type. He loves these and they definitely do help with that. They're also very comfortable and he prefers the silky satin texture these have over high thread count soft cotton pillowcases.
