I have a Rubbermaid 7 x 7 vinyl shed with NO windows....only two small triangular vents at the top of its peaked roof. My wife and I live in hot, hot Southern Arizona. So, I went to Lowe's and purchased three (3) 24 X 24 inch vinyl vertical sliding windows, and using the same dimension-size piece of cut-out cardboard as a template, I easily cut open three (3) window-sized openings in two of its adjoining walls with my electric saber saw. Two of these windows are on one of the narrow sides this small shed. There was roughly 16 inches of wall space between these two window frames. The vinyl shutters needed 18 inches of wall space. How to get these two shutters to fit flat on the wall between these two windows? SOLUTION: Using a 3 & 1/2 inch small circular saw, I cut away 1 full vertical inch from the opposing sides of these shutters. Voila! Perfect fit. Bottom line: With a little bit of ingenuity, one can get things to work out satisfactorily! ... show more

I couldn't find shutters in the dimensions I needed for a small window on my deck so I bought this shutter that is sold for sheds and dollhouses. It worked out perfectly because it is in the same style as actual house shingles. I installed it quickly and easily.
