Love the fact it has a light to see better. I bought this to trim my birds nails as I don’t trust the trimming scissors. He seems to enjoy the slow speed as it has 2 setting fast and slow. I like the fact this is rechargeable and does not need batteries.

This is the 3rd brand of pet nail grinder that I have purchased. The 1st & 2nd ones (different brands) I returned because one went dead and wouldn't charge at all. The other one needed to be recharged after every two times of usage. This Pet Nail Grinder easily exceeded my expectations. I grind my German Shepherd Dog's nails a little bit every third day to keep them proper length. After three weeks I realized that I had never had to charge it up. I then charged it up and recharge it about every 3 to 4 weeks. This Nail Grinder is very quiet and very smooth and does a great job that my dog does mind it at all. It comes with a 2nd grinding wheel which gave me a great Idea! After I cut my my own toe nails & finger nails I switch to the spare grinding wheel with out the plastic guard I smooth out the rough edges (from the clipper) and it does a great job. Even if the spinning wheel touches the skin it does no damage to the skin. I highly recommend this brand, it works great on my dog and even on my own nails.

The tool itself works great, the grinding wheel is not too aggressive and the light makes it easy to see. The main problem was getting my dog used to it. She doesn't like her paws to be handled much generally speaking so getting her used to the idea that I should be doing anything with her nails at all has taken some time. I don't think she really minds the sound or the fact that her nail is being ground on, it's not the tools fault. Just touching her paws and trying to handle her toes gets the exact same kinds of reactions, grinder or not. I introduced the tool slowly, gradually trying to get more time in before she gets too annoyed. I think with time she will get better used to it, it has gotten easier, at first it was pretty much impossible to get her to not yank her paw away when I handle her toes.

This product pretty good it’s a low to no sounds so my dogs do not get scared, it’s a good hold and the light is convenient, the battery last pretty long I used it a good handful of times without charging it back to back, the only thing i wish for is it to cut down a little faster but it’s work pretty good

I love this product even though my dog is still afraid of it, but she is afraid of my electric toothbrush too. However, with someone holding her i can file her nails safer than trying to clip them. It works and that's what matters to me.

Works great for cats and well enough for dogs. Wish it was a tad more powerful for our 50 pound dog nails, but it works great for filing between full mail cuts. Works really well with our cats nails. Quiet and easy to use. Bonus that it comes with a replacement grinder head
