I wear these (and my quiets) every single day and I absolutely love them. I'm going to eventually buy a backup pair to leave at work because the idea that I may accidentally leave these at home gives me anxiety lol They're incredibly comfortable (try every single ear tip size!) and extremely discreet. And I can add a great deal more db reduction (equivalent to the quiets) with the little mute. Before I got my quiets I've even slept in the engages and I'm a side sleeper. While it wasn't *the* most comfortable night time earplugs experience, it wasn't unbearable. I just made myself not put as much pressure on my ear (I gathered up a blanket and positioned it in such a way that my ear didn't emoosh against the pillow.) The only gripe I have about the actual product is that they don't come in more colors. I do prefer the clear ones for work, but when I wear them out to events (bingo night!) I really want to have them look like jewelry to match my 7 earrings in my ears. I'd absolutely love a rose gold, and painting them isn't an option because I don't want to accidentally block the little chamber lol. I know there are the experience ones, but I don't need more occlusion/db reduction at these events so I haven't gotten them. Speaking of gripes - this isn't the fault of the product but it's just the way that earplugs work...even though these ones aren't totally occlusive, they still make it sound weird when I talk. It took me about a week to get used to it and I still can't sing along with the music at work because I'm way too loud to myself and it sounds weird...but the benefits far outweigh that to me. I've tried products like the flare calmers and while they help with general overstimulation they offer zero db reduction so they don't do it for me in loud environments such as my job. I do still use them in other situations, though. Just not when volume is part of the issue. Ok now that that's out of the way, I'll expand on how these are helping me in hopes that it gives someone else the info they need in order to decide whether they want to spend the money on them. I feel obligated to mention that these are *not* designed to protect your ears from significant noise levels such as gunshots or heavy machinery. I know they're not advertised as such, but I feel that it's responsible to add this in my review. So, I work at a restaurant and I have noise sensitivity and chronic migraines. The noise level at work is unbearable at times (too loud but not dangerously so) between the music, the hood vent, the fryers, all of the customers, the clinking and clanking of metal cookware and all the buzzing of the appliances. It drives me mad and makes my head pain even more intense. The breaking point was one day when the person in charge had the music up a little bit too loud and I nearly lost my mind within the first 10 minutes of my shift. I'd had these on my wishlist for a while but I literally purchased them on my break so I could have them the next day. When I tell you that with these in it melts away all of the annoying buzzing and whirring of the appliances! I can't even hear when the water is running (so I have to be careful that I don't overfill the sink when I walk away for a second while it's filling up lol). The clinking and clanking doesn't feel like it's piercing into my soul. The music isn't too loud. AND I can still hear the customers speaking to me very clearly! It only affects me being able to hear people talking if they're quiet talkers or are mumbling, which to be fair that isn't very easy to hear over the ruckus without the loops. All I have to do is adjust my level of concentration when I'm not looking at someone when they're speaking. So it does take some getting used to but it's not something that can't be learned. It's also reduced my migraine intensity. It used to be that if my head started to hurt while at work it would progressively get more painful for the entire day until I finally got home and things are much quieter. Now, when I start to get head pain it plateaus at a point and doesn't continue to increase. This has greatly improved my quality of life while at work. Also when I am having head pain and extra migraine-induced noise sensitivity at home I can wear these and still be able to hear everything around me. I can even use them and listen to an audiobook at the normal volume and be able to hear everything perfectly, if a bit quieter (which is what I want during a migraine) Now, can I just get some of these for my eyes? LOL (seriously, though fl41 migraine tint for glasses is a life saver!) I carry these babies everywhere and I recommend them to anyone with noise sensitivity. My coworker bought some last week and she loves them! I got them as a birthday present for my best friend and she's incredibly happy with them! I can't recommend them enough. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the case. It's fine. Nothing to call home about. I don't trust it by itself, so I crocheted a little pouch to put it in. I've heard that the version 2 cases are more secure, but I don't trust my comfort and sanity to a piece of plastic alone lol you can alternatively buy some of those small, round headphones zipper pouches to put it in. I don't trust the metal cases with the screw-on lid, either. I carry my daily meds in one and am very familiar with just how easily it works itself open.

Great product! I have been following loop for a few years now, I was very skeptical of the reviews stating how good they are, but lately I've been having extreme sensitivity to noise, getting overwhelmed when going out and whatnot. So I bit the bullet and bought these in the clear color. They're amazing! It's a bit weird at first, because you can hear yourself and from what my partner said I was talking a little louder than usual, so I had to sorta teach my brain to talk at my normal volume while wearing these hahah. After a while and a few days of use, you don't even notice they are there! And with the clear color nobody even notices them! They're very comfortable and I can hear my surroundings/people clearly just with less overwhelming background noise. I actually had went to a restaurant while wearing these and we were seated at a table right underneath a speaker blaring music and I wasn't bothered at all! The case is also pretty small, not too large and it holds the earplugs tight in a rubber mold in the case and the little loop on the outside is easy to attach to anything and feels pretty sturdy against mild strength tugs. Overall I definitely recommend these, especially if you are sensitive to loud noises! 11/10, exceeded expectations product!

I was concerned for appearance, comfort, & ability to function being I am autistic. I can wear them at work, social areas like the mall, and family events. It numbs all noise so I don't hear everything but still hear people when they talk to me. I got the clear ones so no one sees i am wearing them. My only complaint & these are understandable because its ear plugs, you can hear yourself talk loud. So sometimes I don't know if im talking loud enough. Also eating anything with them on is also loud. Which again is fully expected & I have no problem with the plugs in those aspects I just take them out to eat & speak louder if someone can't hear me. Overall amazing and probably would consider buying another pair.

I’ve been testing the Loop Engage 2 in one of the noisiest places imaginable: a commercial bakery. Pots banging, carts squealing, music blaring—basically the soundtrack of a stress dream. And these little loops? They’ve been holding their own like champs. Fit-wise? Surprisingly comfy. I wear them for 8-hour shifts, and while I can still feel them, they don’t bug me. I tested all the ear tip sizes like a nerd on a mission and found the perfect match. Once in, they do not budge. I could cartwheel through a flour storm, and they’d stay put. (Not that I’ve tried. Yet.) Sound-wise? They don’t erase noise, but they turn the volume down on the world just enough. Pans crashing? Muffled. Music? Manageable. Speech? Still audible, though a bit dampened—which honestly helps me filter the “need to know” from the background blah-blah. Perfect for managing overstim without checking out completely. I got the clear ones because I like flying under the radar—no one assumes I’m ignoring them or pretending to be a secret agent. Design-wise, they’re sleek, discreet, and surprisingly firm. I expected squishy silicone, but these are solid little units. Not uncomfortable, just more durable than I thought. Now for the spicy bit: Are they worth the price? Ehhh… for what they are, I’d say they’re a bit on the pricey side. But for what they do—help me stay sane in chaos? Priceless. They’re miles better than traditional plugs. You still get situational awareness without feeling like your head’s underwater.
