I love the product but will have to return them. I bought 24 of them and didn't realize the recharging cords were not individual cords! Each cord has 3 prongs to charge with a single plug. I had not intended to keep these all together so they are useless for my needs. Sad because they are quite nice in size and colors ... show more

    • Non-Standard Battery and Lack of Water Rating

My first set had a defective unit (would not respond to any button input) but were replaced and the new set works fine. These have a solid feature set, have a dedicated volume knob, work well and include a charging cradle but have a pigtail-style plug in battery pack and lack any sort of water rating. The volume knob, while a welcome feature, is stiff and grabby and feels cheap-ish. The pigtail-style battery pack means you can't use standard AA or AAA batteries. If you run out of juice you're out of luck. The only reason I can think of that they used this setup is for manufacturing cost savings. There also appears to be no way to buy backup battery packs. One reviewer stated these have a JIS4 water rating. I could find no mention of that. Practically all of the sets in this price range seem to have gobs of complaints about lack of water resistance, so don't expect miracles from this one. Thanks for reading. ... show more

Easy to set up. Easy for my 5 year old to use. Able to communicate clearly over long distances. Wish it had a stronger clip on the string, was worried about it getting caught on branches and falling off.
