Elegant, comfortable, perfect for my nephew's wedding. I'm 68 yrs old, 5'5", 200 pounds, and the 2XL fits beautifully. The lace upper bodice with sparkle accents is beautiful, as is the satin ribbon around the empire waist. I was afraid the ruffle would add more density around my waist and hips, which I don't need, but it is light and delicate. The flutter sleeves are just right as the wedding will be outdoors in Texas in March. I didn't want sleeveless, but didn't want constricting sleeves either. The V-neck is perfect...Not too high, and just low enough to show the lightest hint of cleavage. Picture not bad for an old lady. It fits well, length perfect and it is comfortable. It’s hand washing only with mild soap so I am scared to wash it. (Why it is not five stars.) It’s not as formal as I wanted even though the length in the back is to the floor, but will work once I add a shawl and jewelry. Cloth is not the best quality and yet not the worst. It’s a warm weather outfit which is what I wanted. Not a winter dress for sure. It was a last minute rush job once I realized the wedding was formal wear. I needed something overnight and this was one of two I could get over night with sleeves. Fortunately it fits or I would be scrambling even more. Wish me luck! ... show more

Good quality, thick synthetic material with zipper, not sheer at all. Would probably get toasty if you're wearing it to an outdoor summer wedding, but no big deal if you're at an indoor event. Fits true to size and color is accurate! Surprised this was on amazon. The quality feels more like something I'd buy at Belk, JC Penny or Lane Bryant. Full disclosure, I didn't keep it bc I don't like the hem on me, but if you've got legs to show off, get it! Just note... be careful with undergarments on a windy day... the covered slit runs high and will offer quite a show if it gets blown over. (A careful stitch or two may help that) ... show more
