These were very nice boots for the price - color was beautiful and style exactly what I was wanting. However, the so called zipper is only ankle high which was no help whatsoever in putting on or removing boots. Boots did run narrower than expected, which was no problem for me. I measured my calf and ordered these but they are not as wide as their measurements say. Sadly, I had to return because calf is too small. Very sharp looking boots.

I have ordered these 4 times now-- one pair of brown and one pair of black to start a couple years ago, and then have replaced the black twice now because I wear the heck out of them and tend to be very hard on them. They each lasted about a year which isn't bad for what I put them through. The brown pair still looks great because I simply don't wear brown as much. Anyway, this pair I just received is a very shiny finish, closer to a patent leather than the previous two black pairs I received, which were more... dull, for lack of a better description. Well, I liked the duller finish and was very disappointed in the shininess of this pair. I checked to be sure I ordered the exact same thing, assuming that I made a mistake, but I absolutely did order correctly. So I'm really disappointed that the product has changed. The fit is just right and I have not found others I have liked as much for the price, but I'm honestly debating returning them for a refund. ... show more

I bought the distressed brown boots in 7.5 last year and they have by far been my fave boots I've owned! I love the slight western style to them, they fit great and are so comfortable. The black ones were finally back in stock and I just ordered them!

The quality seems very nice and they’re very pretty. But too wide on the cabs they didn’t look good on me at all. I order the regular ones and even tho fit very loose, I had to return them. Tho great service they refunded me the money the next day I shipped them back

Let's start by just saying I love mostly all boots. I have many pairs of all colors of the rainbow, but my absolutely favorite pair of brown boots that I wear all the time are reaching the end of their lives so I started looking for a replacement. I knew I didn't want to break the bank since I already have several pair that cost me more than a couple hundred dollars, and wanted something I wouldn't be worried about wearing down, or getting dirty. I usually wear a size 8.5 to 9. In these I ordered a size 9 so I could add a dr. scholles cushion support. They are slightly large, but fit perfectly with the inserts. They have a little extra room in the toe cage, which is nice for people like me (note: I can't wear most Frye boots due to their standard size toe cage). I also love that I have enough room for a nice pair of wool socks in the colder months. As far as the look goes, I don't find these cheap looking what so ever, and the color gives them a slight textured appearance, which I like. I walked the dog to the park and back (about 2 miles) when I first got these and had no blisters or discomfort. My only con would be the size of the opening of the boot. I'm a runner and a skier so my calves are a little bit on the larger size and it will be more difficult to wear layered socks and thicker jeans with these. They fit snug against my thin leggings, but this is something I run into often. ... show more
